Luigi's Mansion 3

Nintendo has come out with a third Japanese commercial for Luigi’s Mansion 3 to celebrate the game’s launch. Give it a look below.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 is launching with a day one update. Upon the game’s release, players can access version 1.1.0.

Unfortunately, the update isn’t too exciting. Nintendo simply says in its patch notes: “Several issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience.”

A physical version of Mulaka is on the way courtesy of First Press Games. Though a specific release date hasn’t been shared, it’s due out in early 2020.

Mulaka, an action-adventure game, first launched on the Switch eShop back in March 2018. It’s based on the indigenous culture of the Tarahumara and has players “solving puzzles in environments inspired by real Sierra Tarahumara locations” as well as performing “heated hand-to-hand combat with creatures pulled from the region’s mythology”.

Bee Simulator

The Switch version of Bee Simulator is being shown off this week at Paris Games Week 2019. View some off-screen footage below.

Much like last year’s Pokemon titles, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield won’t support cloud save backups. That news comes straight from the games’ eShop listings.

Given what happened with Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee, this isn’t all too surprising. Cloud saves are usually disabled when there is concern about manipulating the experience, especially when interacting with other players.

Nintendo provided the following explanation last year when it was asked why Splatoon 2 doesn’t have cloud saves enabled:

Yacht Club Games is continuing its character spotlight video series for Shovel Knight Showdown, this time featuring Plague Knight. Check out the video below.

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

The official Twitter account for the Splatoon series is getting into the Halloween spirit with some special art. A new design shared by Nintendo can be found above.

More:

After the pre-load option for Pokemon Sword/Shield started on the Japanese Switch eShop last night, the same can now be said of Europe as well. On top of that, a bonus is available. Those who pre-order the game will receive a free steelbook case while supplies last. We have a look at the designs above.

Pokemon Sword/Shield launches for Switch on November 15.
