Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition has a final release date. The game will arrive on January 23, 2020, Square Enix revealed today.

Alongside the news, a new trailer has been published in conjunction with the Tokyo Game Show taking place in a few days. We have it below.

Akiteru Naka, the designer in charge of the main storyline for Astral Chain, recently posted a blog on PlatinumGames’ website about the making of the game’s plot. He discussed the process of working with the likes of director Takahisa Taura and Nintendo, and talked about the overall process.

Here’s an excerpt from the piece:

If a new GameFly listing is anything to go by, Deliver Us the Moon will be appearing on Switch. The page suggests that Wired Productions will be publishing the game – potentially later this year.

Deliver Us the Moon is described as a “sci-fi thriller set in an apocalyptic near future, where Earth’s natural resources are depleted.” More information and a trailer can be found below.

Pokemon Sword/Shield had its own spotlight during the latest Nintendo Direct. In the footage shown, fans noticed that an auto-save message briefly appears.

This is something that would be very much appreciated in most games, but because of the nature of Pokemon, fans have some concerns. Auto-saving could interfere with resetting for shiny Pokemon and different natures as well as certain battles/encounters.

Fortunately, Pokemon Sword/Shield still has a manual save option. It’s very much possible that auto-save is optional or is limited to certain areas.

At CEDEC 2019 this week, a few staffers at Bandai Namco stopped by to deliver a talk about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Much of it was naturally focused on the game’s development, but some concept art was also shared for the Battlefield stage.

Japanese website 4Gamer snapped a couple of photos from the event showing off the concept art. We have both attached to this post.
