Splatoon 2’s next big update has arrived. Version 4.2.0 is here, adding in a new Salmon Run stage, new weapons, amiibo support, and more.

Below are the full patch notes:

Nintendo has dated the next wave of NES games for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Metroid, Mighty Bomb Jack, and TwinBee are all going live on November 14.

Here’s a trailer promoting their release:

Nintendo has returned with a new piece of music for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Today’s track is Guile Stage, which originates from Street Fighter II.

Yuzo Koshiro is responsible for the new arrangement. Koshiro has worked on a ton of soundtracks throughout his career, including the Streets of Rage series.

We have today’s music piece below.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai normally doesn’t tweet in English, but he made the rare exception today. A pair of messages address the DLC situation surrounding the Switch game.

Sakurai confirmed that the DLC lineup for Smash Bros. Ultimate is complete and the selection was done entirely by Nintendo. With Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, you may recall that a ballot was held so that fan feedback could be collected in determining how to proceed with certain characters.

Best Buy may soon be giving fans an opportunity to try out Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in a much more expansive fashion. While the retailer did hold demo events at select stores several weeks ago, we’re hearing that a widely-available version could be appearing as early as this week.

Twitter user ChaseJ_T spotted Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at a Best Buy demo kiosk earlier today. Best Buy’s official account even chimed in with a reply, stating: “The cat is out of the bag.”

We’re a month out from Smash Bros. Ultimate, so it’d definitely make sense for a new demo to start making the rounds at retailers. Keep an eye out on your local store for a possible appearance in the near future.
