GameXplain has shared a new video offering comparisons between all of the returning stages from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U to be featured in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Check it out below.

Bass Pro Shops: The Strike - Championship Edition

The fishing genre on Switch will expand later this year with Bass Pro Shops: The Strike – Championship Edition. According to GameStop and Amazon Germany, it’ll be released on October 16 in North America and November 2 in Europe.

Bass Pro Shops The Strike might sound familiar to those who kept up with some of the more obscure Wii titles back in the day. That’s right – it looks like this same originally came out on Wii several years ago, and is now returning on Switch. A fishing rod peripheral will be included where players can slot in the Joy-Con.

GameStop has pre-orders for Bass Pro Shops The Strike here and Amazon Germany has it here. We have some screenshots and a bunch of information below.

NIS America has confirmed that it will be attending PAX West this year. Additionally, the company announced its lineup for the show.

Disgaea 1 Complete, Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk, SNK 40th Anniversary Collection, and killer 7 for PC will be present. Nintendo’s booth will also have SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy.

Aside from playable games, NIS America will have a panel featuring Digital Eclipse’s Frank Cifaldi to talk about the making of the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection plus other games for the rest of the year.

Octopath Traveler

Octopath Traveler has been a huge success for Square Enix and Nintendo around the world, selling over one million copies despite facing continuing stock issues. Famitsu Magazine has done something rather unusual today – the prestigious Japanese gaming publication has put up a questionnaire about the game on their website – in English. They specifically want to hear from overseas fans about their experience with the game. The questions are about your party composition, how you liked each individual story and so on. Select answers will be featured in a future article in Famitsu. You can find the questionnaire here.
