Nintendo has updated its maintenance schedule once again. Right now, one period of downtime is planned for Switch tonight, with another to follow next week.

Splatoon 2 World Championship

Nintendo has provided new details about the Splatoon 2 World Championship, which will be taking place at E3 2018 next month.

Fans can begin lining up at the Belasco Theater on June 11 at 12:30 PM for a chance to receive a wristband that will grant access to watch the opening rounds. Less than 500 attendees will be admitted into the event. The doors will open at 2:30 PM, with the action starting an hour later.

Looking to give Sushi Striker a shot before its full arrival in a couple of weeks? Nintendo has released a demo on the European Switch eShop, so that’s now entirely possible.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 version 1.4.1

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have announced the next update for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Players will be able to download version 1.4.1 tomorrow, the two sides confirmed.

The new update will be adding new quests for Expansion Pass owners, and probably bug fixes as well. We’ll bring you the full patch notes as soon as we have them.

Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two

Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two was first rated for Switch by the USK last month. It has also since been classified by the ESRB. Now we have the strongest evidence yet of a Switch release.

Over on Amazon Mexico, a page has appeared for a Switch version of Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two, complete with what looks to be the official boxart. If the listing is accurate, we’ll be seeing the game on July 24.

Minecraft: Story Mode – The Complete Adventure came to Switch last August. Season Two is the sequel with an additional five episodes.
