A Famitsu live stream with Suda51 was oddly being hyped this week, even though these broadcasts have been taking place for a few months and don’t often reveal anything too big. That was once again the case with the latest event. Suda51 didn’t have any major revelations, but brought along some new concept art and shared a few small details.

Suda51 first showed the “Golden Gun” that’s used to kill demons by an unannounced character. Players will encounter this character in a game-within-a-game that has a modern setting. Suda noted how that the gun is similar to the one from Killer7.

Announced earlier in the week, the strategy RPG God Wars: Great War of Japanese Mythology is landing on Switch in Japan. We have some screenshots in the gallery below.

Bayonetta runs at 720p on Switch when docked similar to the sequel. Compared to Wii U, the game on Switch has a bit of improved texture filtering. There are other very subtle changes as well, such as the approach to bloom lighting.

This week’s Famitsu scans are now available. Highlights include God Wars: Great War of Japanese Mythology, Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Your Four Knight Princess Training Story, and Kirby Star Allies. Scans of all games are below.
