Earlier in the year, Nintendo revealed that the hookshot was scrapped from Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The hookshot has previously appeared in a number of Zelda games, but didn’t make it in for the Switch and Wii U title.

The next European Splatfest in Splatoon 2 is underway. In the new event, Team Book and Team Film are battling it out.

This is more than just the typical Splatfest. Nintendo has refreshed Shifty Station, so players can experience a new version of the stage.

When Gear.Club Unlimited first made it to Switch, Microids was originally selling it as a GameStop exclusive. Just a few weeks later though, it will become more available at more retailers.

Amazon is one outlet that plans to sell Gear.Club Unlimited very soon, for example. If you’d like to order it, you can do so here. It should be available at the end of the month.

Stern Pinball Arcade is out now in Europe on Switch (at least physically), and it’s expected very soon in North America. You can watch some footage in the video below.

When Bayonetta 1 and 2 launch on Switch in February, it seems that Japan will be the only region with a physical version of the first game. Amazon Japan shows two separate boxarts for the titles as part of the “Non-Stop Climax Edition”.

At least at the moment, Nintendo will only offer a single version of Bayonetta 2 in North America, which comes with a download code for the original Bayonetta. Europe is getting a limited edition, but even that doesn’t come with a physical version for Bayonetta 1.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero – Ultimate Day One Edition will be available for Switch sometime in Spring 2018. Over on Amazon UK, pre-orders have now started. The package can be reserved here.

The Shantae: Half-Genie Hero – Ultimate Day One Edition features the game and three pieces of DLC – Pirate Queen’s Quest, Friends to the End, and Costume Mode. And as extra day one bonuses, an art book and soundtrack CD are included.
