Switch battery life ranked by tons of games, based on brightness and Wi-Fi usage

Reddit user Tyfui has put together a handy chart ranking a ton of different games for Switch based on how long the battery lasts. Over 50 titles were put to the test, and each one includes data for low brightness / airplane mode (Wi-Fi off), low brightness / Wi-Fi, max brightness / airplane mode (Wi-Fi off), and max brightness / Wi-Fi.
Some of the results are rather surprising. Did you know that Monopoly can end up using more battery than Zelda: Breath of the Wild, for instance? FAST RMX also seems to take up quite a bit of juice.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 screenwriter on how the story was created
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 29 Comments
Nintendo and Monolith Soft has kicked off a new “Production Notes” series of features for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The first entry published in English today is dedicated to the story.
In the piece, screenwriter Yuichiro Takeda talks about how the story’s creation was a joint effort from himself, Kazuho Hyodo, and director Tetsuya Takahashi. Takeda was in charge of even chapters whereas Takeda worked on the odd ones. Takahashi handled the story itself. Takeda also says that Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s story has Takahashi’s most flair to date.

With the latest ARMS update, Nintendo introduced a new Party Crash mode. The first session has started today.
Party Crash is a special form of Party Match that runs for a limited time. Players need to adapt to new rules in order to rack up points and raise their Lab Level. A bonus period will also appear at certain times to give you a chance to increase your point earnings. Every Party Crash is also based around different fighters, so you can earn more points by using one of them.

Switch version of WWE 2K18 out in the wild, first footage
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Switch, Videos | 27 Comments
We don’t have to remind you that 2K’s handling of WWE 2K18 on Switch has been incredibly odd. Since the initial announcement awhile back, we’ve barely heard a peep about the game. Other than 2K saying last week that news would be coming soon, that’s all we’ve really seen.
The latest development is a strange one. Apparently WWE 2K18 is already available for purchase on Switch in some European shops despite 2K still not committing to a firm release date. At this point we have no idea what’s going on, but it seems as though the official launch isn’t too far off.
