Super Mario Odyssey’s guide fully detailed

We knew that Super Mario Odyssey would be getting a guide from Prima. It’ll come in both standard and collector’s edition flavor.
Amazon’s listing has since updated with a full overview of the guide. It confirms that the collector’s edition contains a hard cover with premium fishes. Some “exclusive content” is also teased.

EA is finally back on Nintendo consoles with FIFA 18. But how exactly is the game from a technical standpoint on Switch? Digital Foundry investigated the game to find out.
The initial impression is that FIFA 18 on Switch has roots from last-gen versions of the game, but expands with new graphical features and gameplay tweaks. It’s sort of an in between release. The Switch version feels like it’s an extension of FIFA 17 instead of down-porting from FIFA 18 on other consoles.

Full North American Fire Emblem Warriors site open

Fire Emblem Warriors’ North American site was in a teaser site not too long ago, but the full page has gone live. It’s available for viewing here.
The site covers everything you need to know about the game. It contains information about the playable characters, gameplay, amiibo support, and upcoming DLC. A couple of very short clips are located on the gameplay page as well.
Splatoon 2 – Japanese Splatfest #3 properly announced

Nintendo has announced the proper details about the third Japanese Splatfest for Splatoon 2. Players are being asked what they have more self-confidence in: power or stamina / endurance.
If this Splatfest sounds familiar, that’s because it is. Some players had accidentally encountered the theme a few days ago, but Nintendo said that the details were correct. It seems that the theme was spot on, but the timing wasn’t. The Splatfest will begin on October 14 rather than October 8.

NBA 2K18 update out now on Switch (version 1.03)

NBA 2K18 has received what many would probably feel is a much-needed patch on Switch. We’re hearing reports that the new update just went out a short while ago.
Visual Concepts has specifically addressed the frame rate and audio syncing during cut-scenes in MyCAREER. An issue has also been fixed with local play.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 season pass detailed, new characters confirmed

Fresh out of Comic-Con, details about the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 season pass have been revealed.
The season pass will offer six level packs and four character packs. Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, Black Panther, Cloak and Dagger, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Runaways will be represented in stages. Agents of Atlas, Out of Time, Champions, and classic Guardians of the Galaxy will be featured in the character packs.
Super Bomberman R soundtrack out on December 13 in Japan, comes with an in-game code for Takosuke

Konami recently announced that a soundtrack for Super Bomberman R is due out in December in Japan. A more specific release date has now been announced: December 13.
Initial copies of the soundtrack will come with a special bonus. It’ll include a code for Takosuke, who originally appeared in Parodius Da! and other titles such as Konami Krazy Racer. By redeeming the code, Takosuke will be playable in Super Bomberman R.

Sonic Mania director on the origins of the Mean Bean Machine boss battle

One of the more interesting boss fights in Sonic Mania is the Mean Bean Machine. As a tribute to the original game on the SEGA Genesis, it has you battling Doctor Eggman with falling block pieces.
