Side Order rewards Splatoon 3

Side Order, Splatoon 3’s new DLC campaign, is now available, and we have a full list of rewards players can obtain.

Side Order is a single-player roguelike mode that sees you climbing up the Spire of Order. You’ll take down enemies, earn a currency called Prlz, and then use that currency to claim exclusive rewards in the main multiplayer mode of Splatoon 3. We wrote a guide that includes some general tips and tricks for Side Order, and you can check that out here. Since we’ll be talking about Side Order rewards here, there are definitely lots of spoilers afoot. That being said, we won’t discuss the names of story-tied bosses and enemies. If you’re okay with that, then let’s get into the full list of rewards.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance

February 21: Shin Megami Tensei V is getting another lease on life with a just-announced Vengeance version. Atlus will be releasing it for Switch on June 21, 2024.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance was first made known via a leak a couple of days ago. A rating for the title briefly appeared in Korea before being removed.

Nintendo suing Yuzu creators emulator

Nintendo has filed a new lawsuit against the creators of Yuzu, an emulator used for Switch. The document notes that the tech illegally circumvents its software encryption and facilitates piracy.

Nintendo’s lawsuit points out that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom saw over one million copies downloaded before the official launch. Also highlighted is that Yuzu’s Patreon support doubled during that time.

MLB The Show 24

January 30: PlayStation’s big baseball franchise continues on this year, and MLB The Show 24 is confirmed for Switch. The title arrives on March 19, 2024.

MLB The Show 24 brings back notable features like Road to the Show. Cross-platform play and cross-progression are both confirmed.

Reel Fishing: Days of Summer

Today, Natsume announced Reel Fishing: Days of Summer, the latest entry in the series that has been around for over twenty five years. Switch will be getting it this summer.

B-Project Ryuusei Fantasia

Following an original 2021 debut in Japan, B-Project Ryuusei Fantasia is now set for worldwide release on Switch. PQube is handling localization and it will be available “soon”.

B-Project Ryuusei Fantasia is a visual novel in which players will support a group of 14 idols from their humble beginnings through to stardom as their representative.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Wrath of the Mutants

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Wrath of the Mutants has been announced for release on consoles, including Switch. It will be available on April 23, 2024.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Wrath of the Mutants was originally made for arcades in 2017, and it was developed by Cruis’n developer Raw Thrills. It features four-player local co-op and the voice actors from the show, including Seth Green, Sean Astin, Rob Paulsen, ad Greg Cipes. Three new stages and six new boss battles will be added for the console edition.

February 2024 Pokemon Presents recap announcement

Game Freak is developing Pokemon Legends Z-A for Switch, it was revealed during today’s Pokemon Presents broadcast. The game launches in 2025.

Pokemon Legends Z-A should continue the formula that was established with the 2022 title Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Also confirmed is that we’ll be going back to the sixth generation of Pokemon for X and Y with the trailer highlighting Lumiose City as the main setting and the return of Mega Evolutions. Outside of that, not much else is known as we only have a short teaser to go by.
