My Time at Portia update

My Time at Portia players on Switch now have access to a major update. Team17 and Pathea Games are calling it version 3.0.0, but it should show up as version 1.0.8 on your system.

There’s a lot new here between quests, Mason as a new NPC, new levels at the Deepest Ruin, and more. That’s on top of a ton of fixes as well.

Metroid Dread pre-order bonus

Metroid Dread fans may be interested in a new pre-order bonus being offered through Walmart. If you reserve the game, you’ll receive a mug with key art from the game. You can see what it looks like above.

This isn’t the only pre-order bonus we’ve heard about for Metroid Dread. Back in July, GameStop’s extra was shown to be a pin set. Additionally, for those in the UK, the Nintendo store has been offering a keyring, poster, and sticker sheet.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl spongebob Leonardo Patrick Lucy

Thanks to IGN, we have a number of new gameplay videos for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl that provides a closer look at SpongeBob, Leonardo, April, Patrick, CatDog, Lucy, and Nigel.

The first video shows general gameplay with insight from developer Ludosity. Next up is a four-player match for SpongeBob vs. Leonardo vs. April vs. Patrick. CatDog vs. Lucy is next, with April vs. Nigel closing things out.

sonic colors ultimate changes

Digital Foundry published a new technical analysis for Sonic Colors: Ultimate that further explores changes that have been made from the original Wii version. Despite issues that some have encountered regarding glitches, it does look like Blind Squirrel has put in a decent amount of effort.

World War Z Switch

We’ve seen World War Z on Switch with screenshots, but not any actual footage. That changes today with a new trailer that’s just come in from Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive.

World War Z on Switch will offer fast-paced third-person shooter gameplay with swarms of hundreds of zombies. It’s all powered by Saber’s Swarm Engine. Expect to travel to New York, Moscow, Jerusalem and Tokyo on your own or as a squad of up to four players. The game has seven unique classes as well as various weapons, explosives, turrets and traps.

shin megami tensei v Nahobino

Atlus is back with a new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei V that puts the focus on Nahobino.

As fans may know, Nahobino is the main star of the Switch RPG. This is a mighty being that’s formed between the protagonist and Aogami. While the protagonist controls the body, Aogami guides him with his voice. Atlus says Nahobino is neither human nor demon.

WarioWare: Get It Together! reviews

WarioWare: Get It Together! will be available for Switch starting this Friday, and reviews for the game are now starting to come online. Nintendo lifted its embargo just a few minutes ago.

NIS Classics Vol 2

NIS America has announced Prinny Presents NIS Classics Vol. 2, a new collection for Switch containing Makai Kingdom: Reclaimed and Rebound and ZHP: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman.

Both of these games are appearing on a Nintendo platform for the first time. Makai Kingdom originally came to PS2 in 2005 while ZHP: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman is a 2010 PSP title.
