The Inkbrush weapon is now available in Splatoon. Nintendo announced that the item would be launching today just a few hours ago, so the turnaround for its release was rather quick. Let us know what you think about it!

During a presentation held at WWX2015 in France, Level Up Labs announced that the OpenFL framework is in the works for consoles, including Wii U and 3DS.

OpenFL-supported programs are created with the Haxe language and can be used to create different types of applications/Flash movies. It’s already supported on platforms like PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.

OpenFL demos are already compiling and running on Wii U. 3DS will be supported as well, though the team is currently awaiting its dev kit.

Earlier today, Disney Interactive held a stream and showed a bunch of footage from the Star Wars Rise Against the Empire Play Set for Disney Infinity 3.0. We’ve posted it after the break due to auto-play.

During the latest episode of The Giant Beastcast, Giant Bomb co-founder Jeff Gerstman spoke about a conversation he had with the Skylanders SuperChargers development team. Gerstman asked one of the game’s staffers about the possibility of amiibo support. While this person said that Activision and Vicarious Visions are focusing on what they’re showing at the event, he also said: “We’ll have a big surprise at E3.”

That’s an interesting response for sure. Does it mean that Skylanders SuperChargers will make use of amiibo? Only time will tell! Fortunately E3 is just on the horizon.

Nintendo has released a handful of screenshots from Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS showing the new Splatoon Mii costume for Mii Fighter (Gunner). Additionally, we have images of the Miiverse stage from the Wii U version as well. Find the full set of screenshots below.

Nintendo has announced that Lucas is coming to Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS on June 14. He’ll be available for purchase starting at 11 AM ET / 8 AM PT.
