Pokemon Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon replaces Wii U with Switch

In the original Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon games, a Wii U could be found in the player’s room at the beginning of the game. With Pokemon Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon, it’s been replaced. Wii U is gone, and Switch has taken its place. Since Switch is Nintendo’s focus now, the change does make sense.
Warner Bros. showing off LEGO games during official E3 live stream

Warner Bros. will be streaming live from E3 2017 for the first time this year. The publisher’s new show, known as “WB Games Live!”, will be featuring LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, LEGO Worlds, and LEGO Dimensions.
WB Games Live! will feature live gameplay demos, discussions with developers and surprise guests, and cosplay contests. Those who are watching online can enter for online giveaways and prizes.
WB Games Live! will be hosted between June 13 and June 15. You can watch it all here.

My Nintendo adds several new rewards in North America

A number of new rewards have been added to My Nintendo in North America. Most are discounts as you would expect, though a couple of extra ones are thrown in as well. Members also have access to Mario Kart 8 DLC Pack 1 on Wii U and a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe wallpaper featuring Link.

Game Rant was recently able to interview Zelda: Breath of the Wild director Hidemaro Fujibayashi. Fujibayashi weighed in on the game’s early reaction, timeline placement, motion control puzzles, inspiration for the Divine Beasts, early concepts, and why Ganon doesn’t speak.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild dev on recording the game’s sound effects

Nintendo posted a new blog today about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the game’s Japanese website. Mitsuhiro Hikino explains how the various sounds were created like Link’s footsteps and the noise that’s made when equipment clanks.
Hikino worked with SoundRacer in a studio that specializes in sound effects. In all, more than 10,000 sounds were recorded.
