Earlier today, Forbes published its own interview with Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime. Reggie was again asked about Nintendo’s goal of selling 20 million Switch systems this fiscal year, DLC, and rumors of new Switch hardware.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is now up for pre-load on the Switch eShop – specifically in Europe and Australia. North America should follow soon, if not today.

To download New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, you’ll need 2.5GB of free space. The eShop listing has the Switch Pro Controller down as supported controllers. English, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Korean, and Chinese are included languages.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe launches January 11.

Merge Games announced today that it has teamed up with Curve Digital on Bomber Crew: Complete Edition. It’s scheduled for an early March 2019 launch.

While Bomber Crew is already available on the eShop, this new release will see the game head to retail. All DLC content will be included.

Bomber Crew: Complete Edition will cost $34.99 / £29.99 / €34.99.

Doom

Doom received a new update yesterday on Switch. As part of this, the game was given some performance enhancements. Check out docked and portable comparisons between versions 1.2 and 1.1.1 below.

This week’s issue of Famitsu has a news update on Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland. The magazine covers returning character Sterk, new characters Maana and Setia, and gameplay systems.

2K and Saber Interactive have announced that new DLC is live for NBA 2K Playgrounds 2. Players can access Christmas-themed content, including a new playground, and festive vanity items.

That’s not all, as 35 new players are also available. Highlights include legendary ballers from the classic 90s NBA era like Karl Malone and Dennis Rodman.

The Christmas DLC in NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is free for all players.

Super Robot Wars T

Bandai Namco has set the Japanese release date for Super Robot Wars T. In Japan, it’ll be arriving on March 20.

Fans will be able to purchase a “Premium Anime Song & Sound Edition” featuring 35 extra songs for 12,600 yen. Standard copies will go for 8,600 yen.

While Super Robot Wars T hasn’t been announced for the west, an English version will be sold in Asia.

Nintendo Switch

Curious as to how much Switch has sold in the UK? Since launch, the console has moved roughly 1.4 million units.

If you’re interested in comparisons, PlayStation 4 has sold six million units in the UK in five years. Xbox One is just under five million.

The UK has been a notoriously tough market for Nintendo to crack in the past. However, we are seeing Switch games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate having their best series debuts in the country.

A Switch version of YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World  was revealed earlier this year. Since then, we’ve heard very little about the game. Today, we can finally share some news thanks to early reports of this week’s Famitsu coverage. The visual novel is set to be released in Spring 2019 in Japan. An anime adaptation is also set to air during Spring.
