A new update for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has just gone out. Nintendo is delivering version 1.3.1 to all players.
Nintendo says that today’s update addresses an issue with the game’s first round of DLC involving the defeat of certain enemies for Kilton. But more interestingly, a new News channel for Breath of the Wild will be going live for Switch on Wednesday. Players will be able to obtain items by launching Zelda from certain articles.

Dragon Quest X anime short #1: “The Feeling of a Name”
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, General Nintendo, Switch, Videos, Wii, Wii U | 4 Comments
As a way of celebrating Dragon Quest X’s fifth anniversary, Square Enix has created a series of short animations based on “‘miraculous’ stories” submitted by players.
The first video, called “The Feeling of a Name”, is attached below. Gematsu also provides us with the following synopsis:
“The Feeling of a Name” opens as a young girl watches her parents enjoy the in-game fireworks celebration for Dragon Quest X‘s fourth anniversary on August 2, 2016. She quietly points out to her father that it looks like everyone has gathered to celebrate Yukina’s birthday. Yukina is the name of her mother’s character, but in a flashback we learn that she was named after their elder daughter, Yukina, who passed away. A year goes by, and we see the father at a cafe, chatting in Dragon Quest X on his laptop, where it is suggested he proposes to his online friends the idea his daughter mentioned a year prior, unbeknownst to his wife. Finally, on August 2, 2017, the family is gathered once again to watch the in-game fireworks celebration for the game’s fifth anniversary. It is then that everyone viewing the fireworks start to wish Yukina a happy 15th birthday, bringing tears to the surprised mother’s eyes. Had she been alive, Yukina would have turned 15 years old that day.

Breath of the Wild’s next DLC will add more Zelda-related equipment
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch, Wii U | 14 Comments
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has one more DLC pack to go. Following The Master Trials, Nintendo is also working on The Champions’ Ballad.
We’ve slowly been learning more about the next round of DLC. At Japan Expo in France last month, series producer Eiji Aonuma confirmed that the shirt Link starts out with in The Wind Waker will be added. That’s not all though. In a new blog post on Breath of the Wild’s Japanese website, Aonuma teased that other Zelda-related equipment will also be offered.
The Champions’ Ballad DLC for Zelda: Breath of the Wild launches this holiday. You’ll still be playing as Link, but you’ll learn more about Zelda. The DLC will also feature a new dungeon, an original story, and more new challenges.
Thanks to Jake for the tip.
