REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Over the top. Breathtaking. Out of control. Stylish. Critically acclaimed. Any of these words can be used to describe the Bayonetta 2 game, the latest action classic from PlatinumGames, launching exclusively for the Wii U console on Oct. 24. Fans of the original Bayonetta game know that the series delivers some of the most intense action, massive set pieces, gorgeous graphics and slick controls of any video game series out there. With Bayonetta 2, everything is taken to the next level. Main character Bayonetta is more powerful than ever, using wild new moves and weapons in various single- and multiplayer modes to take down both angels and demons in a thrilling quest to save a friend from eternal damnation. Just another day in the life of the Umbra Witch herself.
“The action-game geniuses at PlatinumGames have done it again. Bayonetta 2 is the kind of exclusive game that fans are going to devour like Halloween candy,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “With its challenging but rewarding game play and over-the-top content, Bayonetta 2 proves the depth and diversity of the library of games that can only be played on Wii U.”

More Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS DLC speculation
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Rumors, Wii U | 5 Comments
There’s more talk going around about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS potentially supporting DLC.
Messages have apparently been found in the 3DS version that could be used to create data for downloadable content, for instance. Other recently-discovered code could allow for character and stage DLC to be loaded.
Rumor has it that the shop will be titled “Notifications Shop” – at least in Japanese.
Will any of this pan out? Will Smash Bros. actually get any DLC? Only time will tell…

Hori to release GameCube inspired Mario/Luigi Wiimote controllers
Posted on 10 years ago by Jarop(@gamrah) in News, Wii U | 1 Comment
There was a slew of GameCube inspired Wiimote attachments announced prior to E3 this year, where Nintendo officially announced the GameCube adapter for Wii U which prompted almost all clones to disappear from the market very quickly. It looks like Hori have decided to stay in the game with a particularly stylish controller however, set to be released on December 6 for 2980 yen. This Mario and Luigi themed GameCube inspired controller features a slightly larger d-pad and a turbo button with 3 settings.
