Animal Crossing: New Leaf players have come across a new glitch that allows for item duplication. In order to take advantage of it, two users need to connect with each other online.

NintendoWorldReport provided a handy guide outlining the necessary steps:

  1. Have the first player open up their town to friends over the Internet. This player will be known as the host.
  2. The second player, the visitor, should grab the item(s) they wish to duplicate and then travel to the host town.
  3. Once the visitor arrives in the host town, they should drop all the items they wish to duplicate on the ground.
  4. The host then needs to press start and select End The Multiplayer Session.
  5. Once the session is ending, the visitor needs to physically flick the switch on their 3DS’s Wi-Fi to off at the right time when their game is saving. (Note: The host doesn’t disconnect their Wi-Fi.)

Replicate the glitch at your own risk. Note that it isn’t guaranteed to work, and there’s always a possibility that the glitch could destroy your game.

Warner Bros. will be sharing some news about Batman: Arkham Origins at the San Diego Comic-Con later this week. An official event description we recently discovered states that the game’s official panel will provide fans with “the latest reveals”. Warner Bros. Montreal creative director Eric Holmes will be in attendance, as will actors Roger Craig Smith (Batman) and Troy Baker (Joker).

Adding to the hype is this tweet from Holmes posted over the weekend:

The Batman: Arkham Origins panel will take place this Thursday at 1 PM.

Update: Scrap that July 30 date! Developer Pwnee Studios writes on Twitter that the date mentioned is “not quite accurate, but not far off.”

Ubisoft has confirmed that Cloudberry Kingdom will be available on Wii U on July 30. The news comes straight from the publisher, so you can probably count on that date. If you’re looking to purchase the game, you’ll need to fork over $10.

Just as a reminder, be aware that Donkey Kong has arrived on the Wii U eShop as a Virtual Console download on the cheap. It’s available for a measly $0.30 / €0.30 / £0.30. The cost will rise to the regular NES price point ($5) after August 13. Donkey Kong is the final title included in the Wii U Virtual Trial Campaign.

Astrogun founder Xander Davis made waves when he blasted the Wii U last year. Since then, he changed his tune and has high praise for Nintendo’s indie approach.

Davis’ new interest in the Wii U has resulted in his company becoming an official developer for the system. Better yet, Project CIDER has been confirmed for the eShop.

Davis told Nintendo Life:

“The kid in me is so thrilled to be making a game for a major Nintendo console that I dug up all my Nintendo Powers from 1988 onward and have been pouring over them for inspiration. It’s a good feeling, and I think that’s already making its way into the game design. I’m fulltime developing Project CIDER now, and the next few months are especially going to be very intense with a lot of rapid development. It’s a very exciting time.”

You can find out more about Project CIDER through the official website here.

Martian Manhunter was announced as the fifth character DLC for Injustice: Gods Among Us at Evo 2013 yesterday. When will players be able to get their hands on the new piece of content? The wait won’t be long, as Warner Bros. has said that Martian Manhunter will be releasing “in the coming weeks.”
