The two titles were cancelled for unknown reasons.
Ubisoft made its E3 2013 lineup official today. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Rayman Legends, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, and Watch Dogs have been confirmed for the expo.
The company will host its E3 presentation on June 10 at 3 PM PT. Ubisoft will be giving “first looks at Ubisoft’s upcoming lineup, including exclusive next-generation games, innovative editions of popular franchises and new brands and titles.” You’ll be able to watch the conference live right here.
Ubisoft co-founder and CEO Yves Guillemot said:
“This is a pivotal moment for the video game industry, and E3 is the opportunity for us to share our vision for the future. We have many incredible games in development, and we’re especially excited to share more on our next-gen titles, which will deliver more connected, immersive and interactive experiences to our fans.”
The official E3 2013 lineup announcement can be found below.
Hometown Story will be making its first appearance at E3 2013 next month. Natsume announced today that the game will be making its playable debut at the expo.
Natsume president and CEO Hiro Maekawa said:
“We’re very pleased to have a playable version of our new IP, Hometown Story, at this year’s E3. We’ve been able to see the exciting development process of this game during the past year, and are now extremely happy with the chance to share the game with everyone!”
Hometown Story is developed by Harvest Moon creator Yasuhiro Wada. Nobuo Uematsu has composed music for the title while Atsuko Nishida has provided character designs.
Hometown Story begins as players return to their hometown after inheriting their grandmother’s shop. The shop has become run down, but the magical sprite “Pochica” will help you get things back up and running. You’ll meet the unique residents of the town, all of whom grow throughout the game.

New details for Sonic Lost World for Wii U & Nintendo 3DS revealed
29th May 2013 – Following on from last week’s Nintendo Direct video announcement in which details of a worldwide partnership between SEGA & Nintendo were announced, Nintendo of Europe today reveals additional details of the second title to be published exclusively on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS as part of the three title deal. Sonic Lost World sees Sonic face his most powerful enemy to date – and this time there are six of them. Sonic Lost World will be available exclusively for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS later this year.
Dr. Eggman has harnessed the power of six menacing creatures known as the Deadly Six, but when the Deadly Six rise up against their master, Sonic has to unite with his arch nemesis in order to take on the new enemies head-to-head. Using his dynamic new parkour moves and improved Colour Powers, Sonic must run, jump and race through a variety of ever changing terrains in order to defeat the Deadly Six.
The PC and smartphone version of Miiverse was updated earlier today with new functionality. Users can now post and delete posts in communities, follow and unfollow others through their profile, and more.
