A new update on Rockstar Games’ website has some believing that the GTA+ subscription service could be appearing on Switch.

Yesterday, it was spotted that the platform list for “Games Included with GTA+” included Nintendo’s console. However, as noted by X user TezFunz2, it is not currently used on the site. Rockstar could be planning a future announcement.

Despite launching over two decades ago, fans have seemingly just now found a new tidbit about Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire that reveals the games could have received different names.

Farore.Gba was recently looking through the code and posted what was found on social media. “Indigo Version” and “Crimson Version” were both spotted, so it seems that both were potential titles at some point. Note that these are rough translations. Also, no one can say for certain how far into development the alternate names were being considered.

May 18: ININ Games and Taito revealed their latest collaboration today, which will see Taito Milestones 3 launch exclusively on Switch. A release is planned for Winter 2024.

Taito Milestones 3 features another set of classic games in a single package. Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands: The Story of Bubble Bobble 2, Rastan Saga, Cadash, Champion Wrestler, Runark, and Thunder Fox have been confirmed thus far. More titles will be announced later. When we get that information, we’ll be sure to pass it along.

Kemco is continuing its string of physical releases on Switch with Kemco RPG Selection Vol. 7, which will be out soon in Japan.

Asdivine Cross, Alphadia Genesis 2, Ruinverse, and Chroma Quaternion are included. The full set will be included on a single cartridge. All of these games should support English and can be played on any Switch system regardless of region.

June 25: Touhou Luna Nights did see a physical release in Asia previously, but SelectaPlay today announced a new version for fans in the west which includes a collector’s edition.

The title will receive a five-year anniversary standard and limited collector’s edition. Both versions include the game, printed color manual, and special sleeve. The collector’s edition of Touhou Luna Nights adds the original soundtrack double CD, three alternative inlays, a serialized certificate of authenticity, and a steelbook case all housed in an oversized box.

PQube is providing a final look at B-Project Ryuusei Fantasia. The visual novel, which originally released in Japan, just landed in the west today.

Ratalaika Games, in partnership with Nibb Games, are about to ship a new version of Frogurai for Switch

Frogurai is a 2D puzzle action title. You’ll play as a frog samurai tasked with taking down the snake clan, and ultimately, you’ll look to end to the war.

Feperd Games, along with FreakZone Games, today provided the final release date for Spark the Electric Jester 3 on Switch. In the Americas, it’ll be out on July 25, 2024. Europe will follow on August 1.

Spark the Electric Jester 3 was made known for Switch back in May. No information was shared about launch timing, but now the port is just a little ways away.

Courtesy of Idea Factory, 9 R.I.P. now has a release date in the west. Switch owners in North America and Europe can expect the English translation on October 15, 2024.

Idea Factory initially confirmed localization plans back in April. The publisher said the otome visual novel would be ready for a western debut sometime this year.

Today, Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios issued a new gameplay trailer for Takeda in Mortal Kombat 1. The character will also be joined by Kameo character Ferra.

Ferra was originally planned to release in June. However, the launch was delayed as NetherRealm needed “a bit more time to make sure she can assist to the best of her abilities”.
