There’s a special treat on the way for Sea of Stars fans as a new art book is on the way. You’ll be able to pick it up sooner rather than later – it seems to be dropping as early as July 2.

As you would expect from this sort of books, it’ll be packed with concept art made for the RPG. Fans can get a peak behind the curtains at the designs made by Bryce Kho, who has been with Sabotage Studio since 2020.

Earlier this year, Xenoblade developer Monolith Soft published its Company Brochure 2024. It includes interviews with key members of the company who talked about the past and future. It’s a good time for reflection given how Monolith Soft turns 25 this year.

Hirohide Sugiura, one of the founders of Monolith Soft, shared some of the more interesting comments. Sugiura feels that the company is still in its “genesis” stage and hopes the company can keep going far into the future – maybe even 500 years.

After a lengthy wait and a couple of delays, Mars 2120 now has a release date. It’s now confirmed for launch on August 1, 2024.

We first heard about Mars 2120 back in 2020. Originally, it was slated for Summer 2022, and later this past March.

For those playing Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance and wondering how to toggle Miracles, we have you covered.

Most of the Miracles that you’ll learn provide permanent positive effects, such as increase the number of skills you can learn from Essence Fusion, capabilities in combat, and benefits from fusion. A few are listed as “Togglable” as their effects can be turned off and on at your discretion, but the game never actually tells you how to do this.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are readying the next update for Fire Emblem Heroes, version 8.7.0.

The update includes new skills for a couple of Mythic Heroes, new weapon skills to refine, and some other content. There’s a new quality of life change planned as well.

Here’s the full rundown of the new update:

It’s been a couple of years since we originally reported on River Tails: Stronger Together, but the Switch version now has a release date. An eShop listing shows that the game launches next week – July 3, 2024.

River Tails: Stronger Together, a 3D co-op adventure platformer, was first funded on Kickstarter in 2021. The PC version dropped in December, so it took about half a year for the Switch version to wrap up.

For those that need a refresher on the game, check out the following overview:

A bunch of gameplay is here for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble. Adventure Mode and Battle Mode are both showcased across more than 30 minutes of footage.

When it was first released on the 3DS, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon never really felt like a sequel to the Gamecube title to me, and it wasn’t until the release of Luigi’s Mansion 3 on Switch that its significance really hit home. But the game simply felt too ambitious for its own good at the time and felt like it would have been a better fit for the ailing Wii U, which was better equipped to deal with its increased scope, visual style, and was also in desperate need of more games, which the 3DS never had any shortage of. But with its release on the Switch, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD feels as though it has finally been given some long overdue and much-needed room to breathe.

With June 2024’s Nintendo Direct all wrapped up, we thought it’d be a good time to pick five of the best Nintendo Directs and ask you: which one is your favorite of all time?

Nintendo Directs are no doubt one of the absolute highlights of being a Nintendo fan. In some ways, it sort of feels like we live “Direct to Direct” – after a presentation comes and goes, we’re already looking forward to the next one, no matter how far it is. The presentations vary in the quality and quantity of their announcements, but are always something to look forward to.
