This week, Taito provided the rhythm puzzle game Touhou Spell Bubble with a new update that adds significant features.
Online functionality is now a part of the game. In Ranked Match mode, players can climb the global rankings by earning rank points through victory in online battles with players from all around the world. There’s also Private Match mode, which allows players to practice online with friends to hone their skills without risk of losing rank points. Additionally, Ranked Match Records allow players to view various play statistics and Titles to show off their skills to other players. And lastly, two types of leaderboards have been added to Challenge Mode.
Super Life of Pixel, a 2D puzzle-platformer from Super Icon, is now getting the physical treatment.
Strictly Limited Games is behind the boxed versions, and will offer both a limited edition (2,000 copies) and special limited edition (800 copies). Pricing is set at €29.99 and €49.99 respectively.

Special Reserve Games has revealed not one, but two upcoming physical releases on Switch with Death’s Door and Loop Hero.
Both of these titles are about to be making their debuts on the eShop. However, for collectors, physical versions will be offered a bit later on.

Nintendo Everything was fortunate enough to interview executive producer Kazumi Fujita about the upcoming release of Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX, covering various topics such why these titles are returning now and what’s new (including no longer having to use CDs like players did on the PlayStation back in the day). We also touched on some general points like what lies in store for the future.
Monster Rancher is making a comeback of sorts with Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX on Switch. These two games were offered individually in Japan last year, but are now seeing a worldwide release.

DoDonPachi Resurrection is making its way to Switch, Live Wire has announced. The shoot ’em up game will be available on November 25.
DoDonPachi Resurrection is the third Cave title that Live Wire has put on Switch. Mushihimesama made it to the system in June, followed by Espgaluda II in September.
