Publisher DigiPen Game Studios (DGS) and developer Digital Innovative Design & Technology Center (DIDTC) have announced that Joojee’s Journey, a side-scrolling platformer, is soon releasing on Switch. The game will be ready to go on November 11.

Joojee’s Journey is the second collaboration between DGS and DIDTC following Bloody Bunny: The First Blood. It’s based on the webcomic series Joojee and Friends from Thai artist and illustrator Napussaya Navalong, also known as Mindmelody.

Following its announcement this past summer, G-Mode and room6 have delayed OU to 2022. It was originally planned for this year.

OU will be appearing on Switch and other platforms upon release. A more specific date has not been shared at this time.

To celebrate the game’s Switch release, publisher Ziggurat Interactive and developer WayForward have shared a launch trailer for A Boy and His Blob. The title ended up on Nintendo’s current console after originally appearing on Wii many years ago.

HORI is planning a new Switch Split Pad Pro for Mega Man, a listing on Amazon reveals.

The controller, which is officially licensed by Nintendo and Capcom, has been completely decked out with the classic character showing up on both sides. The entire thing is in blue as well, which acts as another nod to the Capcom icon.

Nintendo is starting to dabble with the movie space in the form of the Super Mario animated film, but could we see other franchises – like Metroid – get the same treatment?

Yoshio Sakamoto started out on the original Metroid as a designer. Since then, he’s worked on almost all of the 2D games as either a director and producer.
