The newest issue of Weekly Famitsu has dropped, and with it comes the schedule for character releases via DLC for Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny. Each character is priced at 500 yen, the exception being Asagi, who will be available to players for free. Additional colors will be available for players who purchase all of the characters. A new update is available for Pokemon Masters EX, bringing the version number to 2.5.1. This is a smaller update, clocking in around 37MB with an 11MB additional download at launch. Check out the singular patch note here:

This spring sees the launch of R-Type Final 2. For Japan, the release date is announced as April 29th per Weekly Famitsu– whereas we are still awaiting a western date. Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have revealed that Seiros: Saint of Legend, originating from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, will be appearing as a new Mythic Hero. Players will also be able to summon previously released 5-star New Heroes, Legendary Heroes, and Mythic Heroes during the same event.

Super Mario Bros. 35 is cooking up another Special Battle event for this week. You’ll only encounter courses from Worlds 2, 3, and 5. Keep in mind that you won’t actually know which stage will be appearing until you’re actively playing.
The new Special Battle event kicks off on January 29. It will last until February 1.
Nintendo has announced the latest Spirit Board event for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which will feature yellow characters. Defeat these spirits to obtain more gold than you normally would.
The new event goes live on January 29. As usual, it will last for a total of three days.
