Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance releases today on Switch, and Atlus have given us another Daily Demon video. Today we’re given a look at Masakado, a series staple who first appeared in Shin Megami Tensei II.

Capcom is just now bringing the original Monster Hunter Stories to Switch, and new gameplay shows off this updated version. The RPG previously debuted on 3DS.

The latest EDGE review scores for issue #399 (August 2024 issue) are as follows:

June 9: Life is Strange: Double Exposure has just been revealed, and it’s been confirmed that the game is coming to Switch. The title initially launches on October 29, but it’ll be appearing on Nintendo’s console at a later date.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure is the first entry in the series since True Colors. Max Caulfield, the star of the franchise’s first game, is back with a new story.

May 30: The Minecraft 15th anniversary festivities continues, and it’s now been revealed that the major “Tricky Trials” update is coming next month. Players can get their hands on it starting June 13, 2024.

There’ll be a lot of new content to try out when the update launches in just a couple of weeks. Mojang Studios is adding trial chambers as a new structure, the breeze and the bogged mobs, the vault block, mace weapon, and more.

Now that a Nintendo console is getting a game in PlayStation’s Horizon series, that’s leading some to think about whether we could see Aloy – the leading hero of the franchise – in a Smash Bros. entry. Guerrilla Games does at least appear to be interested in seeing that happen.

Kotaku recently caught up with Guerrilla Games franchise development lead producer Tim Symons to talk about the just-announced LEGO Horizon Adventures. That’s where the question about Smash Bros. comes in.

Axel from Crazy Taxi will be offered as DLC for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble, SEGA just revealed.

Axel can be used in both Adventure Mode and Battle Mode, and has unique stats to help him on the courses. Additionally, all in-game bananas will switch to coins in homage to the franchise – it’s for this character only.

Today, ININ Games and Taito passed along the release date for Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III. It’s due out on July 11, 2024.

Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III, which originally came to the PC Engine, was announced for Switch almost a year ago. Originally, the plan was to launch the port last year, but it ended up seeing a delay.
