Pokemon Masters EX has refreshed its content with adding a new challenge to the Champion Stadium and holding a Kanto and Johto five-star guaranteed Scout.

In the Johto Challenge, players can battle against the Elite Four and the Champion of Johto to earn exclusive rewards. This comes alongside a new master mode for the Champion Stadium that allows players to give opponents advantages for the chance at higher points. The Johto Challenge will run until 9:59pm PT on January 31, 2020.

Also live is a special Scout that guarantees a five-star Sync-Pair from either the Johto or the Kanto region. This Scout occurs on the eleventh try and can only be used once during the time period of the Scout. This event runs until 9:59pm PT on December 31, 2020.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Monster Hunter Rise holds on strong at #1 while Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury appears for the first time.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced the next summoning event for Fire Emblem Heroes. New Year: ω Special Heroes kicks off this coming week, and will feature Plumeria, Velouria, Kaden, and Peony (as a duo). A new Paralogue Story is also planned.

Unsung Story, a game that we first heard about in 2014, is still pretty far away from release. However, Little Orbit is now about to put the project on Steam Early Access, which at least indicates things are coming along.

A new trailer for Unsung Story was also released just recently. We’ve included the video below.

Kingpin: Reloaded, a redone version of the 1999 first-person shooter Kingpin: Life of Crime, isn’t launching this year as originally planned – hardly a surprise given how only a few days remain in 2020.

In a message shared with fans, the team said that “some major changes” took place during development, causing the delay. Rather than recreating things in a modern engine, the original game and engine have been reverse engineered, “essentially re-creating the missing sources from scratch.”

Thankfully, development is progressing smoothly. More news will be shared in January.
