Streets of Rage 4 was thought to be heading to Switch on April 23 after it was listed on the eShop. While that turned out to be inaccurate, we won’t have to wait much longer for the game. It’s now been officially announced that the release date is set for April 30.

HAL Laboratory is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. In this week’s issue of Famitsu, the Japanese magazine published messages from several notable developers who shared messages in honor of the milestone, including Shigeru Miyamoto and Masahiro Sakurai.

The new Trick Tour goes live on April 22. It should last until May 6. Around the time that it goes live, we should have a trailer.

Kadokawa Games have released the second trailer for Metal Max Xeno: Reborn. The publisher has also announced a live stream to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the series titled the ‘Tank, Dog and Human RPG Metal Max 29th Anniversary Celebration’ which will be live streamed on YouTube and NicoNico on May 24th.

Developer Steel Mantis have announced that Valfaris and Slain: Back From Hell will be available in a new bundle titled ‘Valfaris & Slain: Back From Hell Double Pack’, releasing on the eShop on April 23rd.
The bundle brings together two of the developer’s heavy metal inspired action games at a reduced price. Slain: Back From Hell originally launched on Switch in 2017, while Valfaris debuted in 2019.
