Nintendo has updated the Japanese Switch release schedule on Nintendo eShop for the week of April 3, 2025. The lineup includes Feudal Bros – Tonosama #1 and more.

Here’s a look at the upcoming digital download schedule:

This week, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate released a significant “Balance of Power” update.

While there isn’t any new content (it sounds like that’ll follow later this year), the team made a massive amount of balancing tweaks. Aside from that, there are various bug fixes and progression updates.

Here’s the full rundown:

Production List, a film and television production tracking service offered by the Film & Television Industry Alliance, may have provided the first details about the upcoming movie for The Legend of Zelda.

The site claims that filming will be done between November 2025 and April 2026 in New Zealand. It offers a synopsis as well, which mentions Link going on a journey to protect Hyrule from Ganon. Similar to the games, Ganon is seeking the Triforce.

You can find the full description shared by Production List below. We would advise taking it with a grain of salt for the time being, however.

It took longer than expected, but Biomorph finally has a release date. The game showed up on the Nintendo eShop, revealing that it’s due out in just a few days – specifically April 3, 2025.

We originally reported on the dark Metroidvania game in 2022. Originally, it was planned for the following year. It did end up dropping on PC last April, but it seems a significant amount of time was needed for the Nintendo Switch edition.

Here’s the latest information about the title:

The latest Nintendo Switch eShop charts for the week of March 29, 2025 are now available.

Once again, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition takes the top spot. Also worth noting is that a couple of new games from this week’s Nintendo Direct – Rift of the NecroDancer and Disney Villains Cursed Cafe – appear for the first time.

More:

Inti Creates put out a launch trailer for Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark, which debuted this week. This follows the previous Nintendo Switch title, Demon Purge, which launched in 2023.

The Nintendo eShop listing provides the following information about it:

Spike Chunsoft started up a notable Nintendo Switch eShop sale this week with the AI: The Somnium Files games at their lowest prices ever. On top of that, a ton of other titles have been discounted such as the Danganronpa series.

The full lineup of prices is as follows:

With Nintendo Switch 2’s big presentation not too far from now, we’re on the verge of a brand-new console generation. And this one is confirmed to have backwards compatibility with existing Nintendo Switch games, which means there will be a huge library of games to play on the new system immediately – even if they’re not all new. We’d expect sales for standard Nintendo Switch software would start to fall off after a few years of the Switch 2 being out. This means it would be an absolutely perfect time to bring back the Nintendo Selects line, which we saw on 3DS and Wii U for several first-party titles.

Infinite Thread Games, which just took its new project Hidalgo to Kickstater, has received full funding and confirmed plans for a Nintendo Switch version.

The title went the crowdfunding route this week where it reached the €15,000 goal in its first day. Infinite Thread Games will now be able to move forward and move on with development. With an art style featuring cardboard dioramas and puppets, players will find a retelling of Don Quixote’s legendary exploits.

Following today’s Nintendo Direct presentation for March 2025, we’re publishing a dedicated post to roundup notable pre-orders. A number of new games were announced and are beginning to go up at retailers.

This post will be updated over the next couple of days with notable listings. On top of that, we’ll be putting everything into our weekly pre-order post on Sunday.
