Nintendo provided a major update on Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn this week. We learned that the game is launching on March 8, and some new information about the game was shared.
One of the things we heard about are Ravel Abilities “that power up Kirby in fun ways”. We now have the full rundown of these, which are as follows:
Not too long ago, it was announced that Celeste will be getting some DLC. Director Matt Thorson shared some tidbits about what’s in store on Twitter.
Thorson confirmed that it’s “all one continuous chapter, no B-Side”. He added that the DLC is “after the current hardest levels in difficulty” and doesn’t feature any strawberries. Finally, new items/mechanics are planned.
The Celeste DLC will be entirely free. But unfortunately, it won’t be ready for the first anniversary on January 25.
Several new games out came out this week on the eShop. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a look at the gallery below.
System: Switch
Release date: January 11, 2019
Developer: Bandai Namco
Publisher: Bandai Namco
Over the course of its early lifespan, the Switch has already managed to gather an extremely impressive library of third-party games to its repertoire. From hugely successful indies to critically acclaimed entries in long-standing JRPG franchises, it’s obvious that publishers and developers have noticed the success of Nintendo’s latest console. Continuing with the Switch’s recent streak of adding multiple different JRPG franchises to its library, Bandai Namco has added a well-known entry from one of its most famous series: Tales of Vesperia. However, this isn’t simply a port of an older game. Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is a remaster of the PS3 port, with updated graphics, voice over, and extra content. So how well does it stack up to not only the original version, but the other JRPGs lining the Switch’s library?
Back in October, One Strike was taken down from the Switch eShop. You can read about the situation here, but the main point is that it used music from the Famicom title Mouryou Senki Madara. Publisher QubicGames said the title would return with different music.
Three months later, One Strike is available once again. You can find it by searching on the eShop – and with an 80% discount to boot (at least if you buy it from the European store).
