Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo’s paid online service, is a requirement to play most Nintendo Switch games online – but not all of them. As it turns out, the recently announced Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be one of them. The Amazon listing for the game states the following:
Online Functionality – The iconic Pawn system comes to Nintendo Switch with online sharing abilities between Nintendo Accounts. (A Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required for online features).

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is out tomorrow. Nintendo released a new trailer for the game today, which you can watch below:
SEGA has published a new trailer for Blade Arcus Rebellion from Shining, which will be released on the Switch in Japan on March 14:
One new terrain and one returning terrain are now available in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
While the first anniversary terrain is returning from its gift period last November, a new snowy sky option is now available as well.

YouTube channel Nintendo Hall has posted some early footage of this week’s NeoGeo game to hit the Switch eShop, Kizuna Encounter.

A new Summon Showcase is now live in Dragalia Lost — titled “Gala Dragalia”.
This focus features a “Gala” variation of Sarisse that is a five-star support class adventurer. In addition, drop rates of five-star adventurers, wyrmprints, and dragons are increased to 6%.
A new Facility Event is set to go live in Dragalia Lost on January 15th and will last until January 25th.
Titled “Dream Big Under the Big Top”, the event will have players going up against bosses with a shadow element. Rewards can be claimed until February 1st.
