Update (2/1): Nintendo also has other unannounced titles for Switch including “one that is a nice fit to the online program.” Further information was not provided.
Original (1/31): During Nintendo’s financial results briefing tonight, the company shared a bit of an interesting tease. The company says it’s preparing at least one unannounced title for Switch that “fans would be delighted to know.” This is planned for the next fiscal year, meaning we won’t be seeing it until April at the earliest.
It goes without saying that there isn’t a whole lot to go on here. Still, it’s interesting that Nintendo would even mention something along those lines. If you’d like to hazard a guess, feel free to do so in the comments below.
A week from today, the action-exploration game Odallus: The Dark Call will be out on the Switch eShop. Have a look at some footage below.
It seems like we are finally getting close to the release of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Koji Igarashi’s spiritual successor to the Castlevania series has recently been rated by the ESRB. Usually, this means that a game is at least somewhat close to being released as a near-final build had to have been submitted to the ratings board. Bloodstained has received a “T” rating for “Blood, Partial Nudity and Violence”. Here’s the ESRB’s rating summary:
This is an action role-playing game in which players assume the role of Miriam, a cursed orphan who must battle her way through a demon-infested castle. As players traverse side-scrolling environments, they use swords, spears, pistols, and whips to battle fantastical creatures (e.g., harpies; spiked armor; demon-like birds, rodents, dogs) in melee-style combat. In one sequence, players encounter a boss character emerging from a bathtub full of blood; her magic attacks can cause blood to rain down on players and stain the walls and ceilings. Another sequence depicts an impaled corpse, with blood flowing heavily into a large fountain pool. The game also depicts a topless female boss creature (no discernible nipples).
Officially, the current release date for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a vague “2019”. In late December last year, Igarashi said that the game’s development “has reached its peak”. Hopefully, a final release date announcement isn’t too far off now.

Atlus finally announced earlier today that Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth is heading west. In both North America and Europe, it’s scheduled for June.
Atlus has since confirmed that, for the overseas version, it will only be playable with a Japanese voice track and English subtitles. “There are no plans to add an English dub to the game at this time,” the company told IGN.
No further comments were shared, so it’s unclear why exactly Atlus isn’t going with a dub. It’s possible that they may not want to sink in extra costs as 3DS software sales have slowed and many gamers have moved on to Switch. Since we lack an explanation, fans can only speculate.
