Version 7.10 of Fortnite is now available. This update adds the “14 days of Fortnite” limited time mode, new options in Creative Mode, balance changes and more. Here are the full patch notes:

Explore new Challenges, play in new and old LTM’s, and unlock rewards in this seasonal event, starting December 19!
Limited Time Modes: 14 Days of Fortnite
The 14 Days of Fortnite event will feature both new and returning LTMs. Large team modes switch every two days and small team modes rotate every 24 hours.
Starting December 19, log in each day at 9 AM ET(1400 UTC) to find out which modes are available to explore. Let us know which LTM is your favorite on our social channels!
Weapons + Items
- Heavy Assault Rifle Changes:
- Reduced the effectiveness of the Heavy Assault Rifle while not aiming down sights; aiming down sight gameplay remains roughly the same
- Increased ADS accuracy bonus by 10%
- Increased accuracy while standing still by 10%
- Reduced vertical recoil by 6%
- Base accuracy reduced by 30%
- Reduced accuracy while jumping and falling by 60%
- Reduced the effectiveness of the Heavy Assault Rifle while not aiming down sights; aiming down sight gameplay remains roughly the same
- Improved Balloon controls
- While in the air, Balloons can be released by pressing the ‘Crouch’ keybind(formerly the ‘Jump’ keybind).
- Players can again use Alt-Fire to release a Balloon when the Balloon item is selected.
- For modes it’s available in, the height at which glider redeploy is available has been decreased from 1000 units to 576 units.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where players were able to pick up live Dynamite through structures.
Nintendo just sent out a press release detailing some of their recent software and hardware sales in the US. Specifically, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has managed to sell 3 million copies in 11 days, making it both the fastest-selling Switch game as well as the fastest-selling Smash Bros. game. Also, as of November 2018, the Switch itself is it 8.7 million units sold, which is more than any other current-generation console managed at this point in its life cycle.

To coincide with the launch of the Gifts of Winter Summoning Focus and Paralogue maps, the 9th Tempest Trials+ event and a separate Summoning Focus of old Christmas themed heroes is now live in Fire Emblem Heroes.
Titled as “Life is But Fleeting”, players will have a chance to participate and earn rewards up to December 28th. Included in these rewards are 4 and 5 star variations of the exclusive new hero, Cecilia (Festive Instructor).
In addition, the Summoning Focus of returning characters is titled “Winter’s Envoy” and includes characters Tharja (“Normal Girl”), Robin (Festive Tactician), Chrom (Gifted Leader), and Lissa (Pure Joy).

As a brief development update, developer Success Corporation has confirmed that work on Umihara Kawase Fresh! is now 60 to 70 percent complete.
The note was made on a registration website for a hands-on demonstration event to be held on January 4th at the Success Corporation headquarters in Japan. Thanks to Gematsu for the full translation of the information.
A new set of rewards is now available within Arena of Valor.
Specifically, the rewards pertain to participating in Snow Festival Event 1. The rewards can be viewed below and will be available until December 24th.
A new teaser has been supplied for the upcoming Fishing Tourney set to occur in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp in mid-December.
This Fishing Tourney will be the 9th of its kind to happen over the course of the game’s history. Players can check out the teaser image above.
Although a delay was announced for the game yesterday, Nippon Ichi has still supplied a new promotional trailer for their upcoming title Destiny Connect.
The footage appears to give players an additional look at the style and design of the game, as well as an early look at gameplay. Check out the footage below.

Graphite Lab is bringing its overlooked Wii U title Hive Jump to Switch, the studio has announced. The game will be launching next month on the eShop.

Mario Kart Arcade GP DX has updated with some new content. Lakitu, a character who excels in handling, has been added as another character. New courses include Banana Labyrinth and DK Jungle.
Outside of content, Mario Kart Arcade GP DX has been updated with a few features. These include the ability to display your face on the results screen, time attack, and rankings.
