Rumor has it that a Pokemon park will be added to Universal Studios Orlando. Following up on a report from Theme Park University blogger Josh Young, WFTV has also heard from “numerous sources inside Universal who say Pokemon is indeed coming to Universal Orlando.”

The Pokemon park will apparently be housed at the KidZone section of Universal, where Woody Woodpecker and Barney can currently be found. Nintendo’s Mario Kart and Donkey Kong roller coaster rides were apparently intended to be placed there previously, though they’ll instead be built at the 400 acres Universal recently bought near Kirkman Avenue.

WFTV reports that the Pokemon park will arrive in 2020.
