Capcom made various announcements pertaining to Mega Man this week, and each one involved Switch. Among what was revealed, both Mega Man Legacy Collections are coming to the console. Capcom also said that amiibo support will be included.

Digital Eclipse, the company that handled the first Mega Man Legacy Collection, is confirmed to be working on the new Switch release. They’re not involved with Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 or the re-releases of the Mega Man X games, however (as was the case with other platforms).

Update: Mastiff has passed along a note that Party Planet is now available at GameStop, slightly earlier than expected.

Pokemon GO’s latest update has arrived. On iOS, the mobile game is now at version 1.55.1. The Android version has been bumped up to version 0.85.2.

The official patch notes only make mention of bug fixes. In reality though, it’s likely paving the way for the new Pokemon and dynamic weather system announced a couple of days ago.

Have you ever wondered how many coins the various Super Mario games have scattered around? Giff Gaff was apparently curious, as the company has calculated estimated totals. Almost every title was examined, with the exception of Super Mario Odyssey – perhaps since it’s a recent release.

There are also some caveats. For Super Mario Galaxy 2, a let’s play was the primary source. Other sources were also used in some cases to help with the totals.

The horror franchise Outlast is on its way to Switch, Red Barrels has announced. The two games are set for release sometime in Q1 2018.

Today’s news comes as part of a larger status update from Red Barrels. The company has ruled out DLC for Outlast 2, and has teased something else in development in the Outlast franchise.
