This week’s issue of Famitsu has another update on Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings. The magazine confirms that the game has gone gold. In other words, development is finished.
Famitsu also reveals three more characters for the game. Hagel Boldness, Pamela Ibis, and Corneria will be appearing.
Hagel Boldness is a blacksmith who has appeared in previous Atelier games. Pamela Ibis is also a returning character and continues to work for the church in Atelier Lydie & Suelle. Corneria, back from Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, shrunk slightly in height each time she used her power to duplicate items, but now appears to get bigger.
Last night, SEGA unveiled Valkyria Chronicles 4. New details have already come in from this week’s issue of Famitsu.
Gematsu translated some of the tidbits that have leaked out so far. Here’s what we know:
This week’s issue of Famitsu contains a release date for Gal*Gun 2. In Japan, the game is set to arrive on March 15. The standard version will cost 6,980 yen while the limited edition will be priced at 9,980 yen.
Famitsu also says that over 70 girls will appear in the high school between students and teachers. “Shooting Parts” are also included as defensive battles. Finally, Gal*Gun 2 will have new characters, actions, and game systems.
Tiny Metal won’t be launching this week as originally planned. On Twitter, publisher Unties states that the game will now launch on December 21.
The extra time will be used to further enhance the game’s quality. Also, the team will be adding in a few more features.
Thanks to Paul R for the tip.

We knew that Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura was due to be released sometime this year, but it turns out it’s actually quite soon – the game will be released this Friday, on November 24th. It will be an eShop-exclusive title. Since the Switch is region-free, you will be able to easily download it by accessing the Japanese eShop. Note that the game has received a Cero D rating in Japan, which means it’s an 18+ / adults-only game.

The Pokemon Company has launched a new Twitter account seemingly centered on a new project of some kind – Project Eevee. At the moment, we know pretty much nothing about what this is. So far, the account has only made a single tweet, teasing “the start of something” for tomorrow, November 21st, at 9 PM JST. It’s worth noting that this account is in Japanese and so far, only the Japanese Pokemon Twitter account follows it, so whatever Project Eevee is, it may just be a minor, Japan-only thing (for now). Either way, we will keep you updated.
