Touhou Genso Wanderer: Foresight is seeing release on Switch, publisher Phoenixx and developers Aqua Style and Ankaa Studio announced today. A release is planned for September 18, 2024.

Touhou Genso Wanderer: Foresight, a dungeon-crawling RPG, previously appeared on PC earlier this year. Each time you enter the dungeon, the layout changes.

Devolver Digital is planning a new Switch physical release with the upcoming The Doinksoft Collection.

Three titles are included in the package. Gato Roboto, Gunbrella, and Demon Throttle will all be included on a single cartridge. This marks the first time that Gunbrella will be appearing in physical form.

The 7 Star Dragonite Tera Raid Battle event for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is now live, and it lasts until September 1. This time around, Dragonite is running Tera Normal, which means you should expect to see lots and lots of Extreme Speed attacks (and it also means you might want to bring a Ghost-type, or at least a Pokemon that resists Normal-type attacks). Limited Run Games is preparing a physical release of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered in the west, the company just announced.

The game will be offered in the form of three versions: standard, On The Gallian Front Edition, and Ragnite Edition. On The Gallian Front Edition includes an exclusive steelbook and rigid deluxe case. The Ragnite Edition adds a Hans plush, a Squad Commander pin, a metal replica of Edelweiss, and more.

Tails of Iron II: Whiskers of Winter has been hit with a delay. Announced at Gamescom 2024 today, the title will now launch in February 2025.

Tails of Iron II: Whiskers of Winter was last planned for this year. The team did not provide a reason for the delay.

Ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2024, Capcom announced its lineup for the show. The company will have several titles on display and more.

As far as upcoming Switch games that are playable, Capcom will be showing off Ace Attorney Investigations Collection and Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics. Other titles at the booth include Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Monster Hunter Now, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Street Fighter 6.

CMD Studios and Winter Crew have announced that their upcoming game Fallen Tear: The Ascension is planned for Switch. It does not have a release window at this time.

Fallen Tear: The Ascension is a hand-crafted 2D open-world Metroidvania game. Players will explore, form bonds with new friends, make choices, and fight to save a magical world on the brink of destruction by the gods.

For those looking to experience a bit of Ace Attorney Investigations Collection before the launch, Capcom just released a demo.

The opening portions of both games, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit, are included. Also, data can be transferred to the full version at release.

koROBO, the new game from former developers at Skip, has now been officially confirmed for consoles.

For those that missed the news previously, koROBO has been on Kickstarter / Campfire for the past few weeks. The project already reached its funding target, and with less than a day remaining, hit its console stretch goal as well. The team hasn’t said which consoles it’ll be supporting, but given how koROBO is a Chibi-Robo spiritual successor, we should count on Nintendo support.
