Paladins developer Hi-Rez Studios appears to be planning something for Switch. CEO Erez Goren was recently asked if the team intends to release any current or future projects on Switch, to which he responded: “Maybe… maybe yes… yes. But I’m not saying which game!”
At the end of November, it was discovered that updated engine config files for Paladins referenced Switch. However, it’s not necessarily confirmed that this is the game Hi-Rez Studios has in the works. We’ll keep you updated on any future developments.
We finally have some news about NBA Playgrounds for Switch. Today, Saber Interactive released an “Enhanced Edition” in both North America and Europe.
NBA Playgrounds: Enhanced Edition should encompass all updates and changes made to other versions of the game since launch. This means new content, fixes, changes, and improvements. The Hot ‘N Frosty DLC ($9.99) is also finally available featuring eight unlockable rookies, three original playgrounds, three fresh tournaments, and three new balls.

Back in 2014, Necrosoft released Gunhouse, a title that mashes up puzzle and active tower defense gameplay. That same game is now on the way to Switch, a listing on the European eShop reveals.
Below is some additional information and a trailer:
Based on a listing from the USK, Hello Kitty Kruisers is coming to Switch. It was rated by Germany’s classification system last month.
Hello Kitty Kruisers didn’t exactly receive a great reception when it originally released on Wii U. The fact that it’s planned for a new platform is somewhat noteworthy though. Over the years, its price has gone up dramatically, and finding a copy these days will cost you a pretty penny. If Hello Kitty Kruisers were to be made available on a new platform, it would be interesting to see what would happen to the original game’s value.
Nintendo shared some big news about Switch earlier today. With over 4.8 million units sold in 10 months, it has become the fastest-selling home gaming system of all time, outpacing the Wii.
In its announcement, Nintendo included an interesting note that might be worth bringing up specifically. The company said: “Fans can also expect continued support from major publishers such as EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Capcom, SEGA, Take 2 and Bethesda, plus a growing catalog of quality content from indie developers.”
EA is publishing Fe on Switch soon, but it’s possible that they could bring more games to the console – like this year’s FIFA. Ubisoft hasn’t announced anything new as of late, but Steep is apparently still happening. Capcom has quite a bit on the way between Mega Man 11, past Mega Man releases, and the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. SEGA has at least Valkyria Chronicles 4 planned. Take-Two could bring more NBA 2K and WWE 2K titles to Switch, with perhaps more from its subsidiary Rockstar. Bethesda has Wolfenstein II in the pipeline. Actvision is the main mystery here, as the company has been absent since launching Skylanders Imaginators nearly a year ago.
