Leaks of the monthly CoroCoro magazine have started to pop up and they contain some new information on Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon (credit to Serebii for the translation.
First up are some new moves for the main legendaries. Both Solgaleo and Lunala get new Z-Moves – Solgaleo’s Sunsteel Strike turns into Sunshine Smasher and Lunala’s Moongeist Beam turns into Moonlight Blaster. Necrozma can also use these two new Z-Moves in its respective new forms, Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma. Dusk Mane Necrozma also has a new regular move, Photon Geyser. Both new forms of Necrozma have the Prism Armor ability, just like regular Necrozma.
CoroCoro also reveals some new features for the Rotom Dex. It seems like you can somehow build up affinity with Rotom over the course of the game, which unlocks a variety of new things it can do. It seems like you’ll be able to talk to it and answer questions and it’ll help you get items with a feature called Rotopon. The big new feature, however, is that Rotom, using something called Z-Rotom Power, will allow you to use Z-Moves twice in battle instead of just once.

There has always been a bit of confusion about whether or not Fire Emblem Warriors would include both English and Japanese voice-overs for its Western release. When showing off the game during the last couple of months at various events and expos, the game had both English and Japanese voice-overs concurrently, though this was only for development reasons as they hadn’t been fully implemented yet. On Nintendo’s official websites and on press material, the game was always only stated to have English voices in its Western release. However, at Japan Expo in July, a Nintendo representative said that it would have both English and Japanese voices available at release.
Statements by these reps at events should be taken with a grain of salt though, as they aren’t always well-informed – just like in this case. Copies of the Western version of Fire Emblem Warriors have now gone out to the press, and these do not have an option to activate Japanese voices, only English ones. This was confirmed by Derrick Bitner from GameXplain.
Pokemon Sun and Moon’s Global Link will be going down November 10th and will stay down til November 16th for maintenance. This will be due to Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon being opened up for connectivity, all features using the Global Link will not be usable for this period of time. Apparently, you will also receive a special gift by registering Pokemon Ultra Sun or Moon to your account when the game releases.
Another day another Pikachu, this time the Unova cap Pikachu has become available for players to download. The download method remains ultimately the same using the PIKACHU20 code to download the special Pikachu. Remember you can only choose one Pikachu, so if this is the one you want you might want to take advantage of it right now. This Pikachu will remain available until October 16th.
