Update: Sonic Forces Bonus Edition is up on GameStop and Best Buy.
Original: Sonic Forces will launch in the west on November 7, SEGA has announced.
The company has also confirmed the rumored Bonus Edition. If you pre-order the game, you’ll receive 13 in-game outfit items and accessories that can be used to recreate the look of five other SEGA / Atlus icons for your Hero Character: Jet Set Radio, Persona 5, Puyo Puyo, Super Monkey Ball, and NiGHTS. A controller skin will be included as well.
Sonic Forces pre-orders should be going live soon. The game will cost just $39.99 / $54.99 CAD.

Retailers are updating the boxart for NBA 2K18 on Switch. It’s mostly the same, but the packaging has one key addition. As shown above, it’s noted that an internet download and microSD card are required.
The boxart change isn’t just limited to one retailer. Best Buy and GameStop have both made the change for all versions – the Early Tip-Off Edition and Legend Editions.
We still have to assume that NBA 2K18 will come on a cartridge on Switch. However, you may need an extra download before you can begin playing. NBA 2K games tend to be huge, so perhaps it couldn’t fit on the cartridge alone. That’s just our speculation, however.

The European Switch eShop has updated once again, giving us a look as to which NeoGeo game lies in store for Switch next week. On September 7, Hamster will be putting out the side-scrolling action game Blue’s Journey.
We have the following overview:
Blue’s Journey is a side-scrolling action game released by SNK in 1991. In order to save the planet Raguy from the invasion of the Daruma tribe, the hero Blue must fight using leaves, boomerangs, and a variety of other weapons along with his special ability to change his body size. The branching stages allow you to enjoy the game again and again.

Ahead of the SNES Classic Edition’s launch in a few weeks, Nintendo has uploaded a new manual for Star Fox 2. It’s packed with all sorts of goodies pertaining to the game.
For one thing, the manual has some new pieces of art. One of those images is above. Another, added below, features early concept art of Star Wolf.

The next wave of Legendary Pokemon have arrived in Pokemon GO. Starting today, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will be appearing in the game via Raid Battles.
Raikou can be battled throughout the Americas. Entei will be showing up in Europe / Africa, while Suicune can be found in the Asia-Pacific region. This will apply until September 30; after that, each Legendary Pokemon will move to a different location until October 31. They’ll each make one last stop in the missing location on October 31.

This week’s issue of Jump offers more information about the new Dragon Quest X expansion, The 5,000 Year Journey to the Distant Homeland Online. Three characters are introduced.
First up is Meleade, a woman you initially encounter in the past world. Jump describes her as a softhearted noble. You’ll also meet Quord, the commander of the Eterne Kingdom army and the younger brother of Meleade. Quord will fight anyone who tries to harm his sister. And finally, Jump shows Chacol, Meleade’s mischievous pet cat, with her collar and ribbon matching that of Meleade’s.
Yesterday, we learned that Worms W.M.D. is coming to Switch. However, we didn’t have much in the way of details.
Team17 has followed up today with an official announcement. This is the same Worms experience you know and love, but with some extras on Switch. Confirmed details include a new “Space” theme, new “Mushroom” and “Tree House” themes, new customization options, and support for single Joy-Con play, local wireless multiplayer, and local / online multiplayer.
