The previously-announced Battle Mini Game in Minecraft: Wii U Edition now has a release date. Today, it’s confirmed that the content will be available for free on June 21.

Two upcoming Wii U games can now be pre-loaded in North America. Starting now, it’s possible to purchase Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in advance. Nintendo will let you download most of the data, with only a small update needed at launch to begin playing.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE requires 12.8GB of space. Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games takes up 2863.5 MB.

Nordic Games is continuing its support for Wii U. Following last year’s Legend of Kay Anniversary Edition and The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 which just came out this week, the publisher is preparing another title for Nintendo’s console.

Nordic Games business and product development director Reinhard Pollice teased on Twitter that an action-adventure title is on the way. Sadly, he didn’t elaborate any further.

Yet another new commercial is in for Kirby: Planet Robobot. See the “Ready to Rocket” promo below.

A pair of rewards have been added to My Nintendo Europe. For 25 Gold Coins, users can pick up a 50 percent discount on Kirby’s Dream Course (redeemable for New 3DS). A 1-hour ticket for Wii Karaoke U can also be obtained in exchange for 100 Platinum Coins.

The Kirby discount will be up until June 23. The Wii Karaoke U ticket will be on My Nintendo until July 1.

Lightwood Games is working on yet another title for Wii U and 3DS. Later this year, the indie developer will be launching Worcle Worlds on the eShop.

The classic mobile game Worcle has been reimagined for dedicated gaming systems. It’ll include “a large story mode with hundreds of missions across ten different worlds, local two player battles and live online games”.

Update: New wave of LEGO Dimensions packs up for pre-order on Amazon.


Warner Bros. Interactive has just put up the LEGO Dimensions E3 2016 trailer, which confirms a whole bunch of properties coming to LEGO Dimensions.

Some information was made known earlier this week through rumors and leaks. But now it’s official: franchises including Sonic The Hedgehog, Harry Potter, Adventure Time, Mission Impossible, E.T., The Goonies, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Ghostbusters (reboot) are on the way.

LEGO Dimensions players can get their hands on new packs based on 16 new entertainment properties starting on September 27 with the Ghostbusters Story Pack, Adventure Time and Mission: Impossible Level Packs, Harry Potter and Adventure Time Team Packs, and The A-Team Fun Pack. Additionally, packs for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The LEGO Batman Movie, The Goonies, Sonic The Hedgehog, Teen Titans Go!, LEGO City Undercover, Knight Rider, The Powerpuff Girls, Gremlins, Beetlejuice and E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial will be released in waves stretching into summer of next year.
