A few new details about Dragon Ball: Project Fusion have emerged from this week’s issue of Jump. Primarily, we have news about the characters.
Dragon Ball: Project Fusion features your own main character. However, it’s unknown if you can really modify him similar to the series’ last release, Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Jump mentions that you’ll be the one doing the adventuring, and you’ll meet with legendary fighters.
We also get a first look at a brand new character called Pinijji. Jump doesn’t say who he is or what his role is.
The week’s issue of Jump has yet another update on Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3. This time around, we have news about the Great Riders Cup. This can be accessed by going through the story up to the point where you meet a Nochora who organizes the event named Chomach.
The Great Riders Cup are battles with up to four participants, each of whom rides a monster. The objective is to gather slimes that are spread around the field and carry them to your goal to rack up points.
Marvelous opened up the website for Story Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages today. The site offers an overview of the game’s systems and also provides a look at two new characters from Tsuyukusa Village – Kasumi, a marriage candidate for the male main character and Yuzuki, a marriage candidate for the female main character. The folks over at Gematsu translated some info about these new characters.
Kasumi is a teacher in a private outside of Tsuyukusa Village. She’s a quiet girl who rarely talks to men her age, but she loves riding horses.
Yuzuki is a gentle but frail young man who makes metallic ornaments for a living. He likes sweet foods and can usually be found at his workplace.
The website also features several new gameplay clips. The first one shows off the creation of a female main character:
Head past the break for several more clips!

If there was an award for the most unlikely RPG revival of 2016, it’d have to go to Return to PopoloCrois. This series started out as a comic but became a cult classic game series in Japan thanks to a string of games on the original PlayStation. Now it returns for modern audiences, but Return to PopoloCrois is very much a return to the early days of 32-bit RPGs. It also brings in elements from the franchise formerly known as Harvest Moon, mixing the farming with a more traditional RPG experience. The two titles have a similarly peaceful pastoral setting (and apparently a large female fanbase in Japan) so it initially seems like a good mix, but unfortunately the gameplay side of things is a bit lacking.

Capcom released a batch of new screenshots from Ace Attorney 6 today. Find them in the gallery below.
Ace Attorney 6 is comprised of two parts, as we already know: investigation and trial. Players collect evidence during the investigation sections and present them against prosecutors and witnesses during trials. The game flow is the same for Phoenix and Apollo.
There are four options during investigations. You can talk to people, examine scenes, present evidence to people, and move to another location. During trials, you press witness testimony and present evidence to object to a statement during cross-examination, similar to past entries.
