Sin & Punishment arrived on the US Virtual Console last week, and thanks to the trailer below uploaded by Nintendo UK’s Youtube channel, we now know that it’s being released in Europe this week, on September 3rd.

The iOS and Android version of Pokemon Shuffle came out last week in Japan. Today, it’s finally been released in the West as well. It’s free to play, so why not give it a shot?

The 3DS version of the game, meanwhile, is still getting a constant stream of updates. Today, a couple of new stages were added to the game.

First of all, you can face off against the Legendary Pokemon Lugia in a Special stage. This is a timed challenge, giving you only 30 seconds to complete it. This stage will be available until September 14.

Another timed stage has you facing off against Carnivine, giving you one minute to beat it. This stage will be available until September 12th. Like the Wobbuffet stage, this one allows you to use items free of charge.

Finally, a rerun of the Pokemon Safari stages where you can catch Spinda, Cherubi, Cherrim, Carvanha and Sharpedo started today. It will last until September 14th.

Sharpedo will likely be the players’ primary target since next Monday, a new Mega Stone challenge will appear in the game which lets you earn Sharpedo’s Mega Stone.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart! Monster Hunter X has taken the top spot, and Dragon Quest XI is quickly climbing up.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between August 6 and August 19.

The official Nintendo online store has dropped the price of refurbished 2DS systems. Currently, the Crimson Red and Electric Blue units are both going for $60. Orders can be placed on the store here.

More:

All N64 Virtual Console games on the Wii U cost $9.99 – with one exception. Sin & Punishment, which launched on the North American eShop this past Thursday, has an asking price of $11.99.

Those of you who picked up the original Virtual Console release on Wii can upgrade and nab the new Wii U version at a discounted price. Despite the slight increase in cost ($12 as opposed to $10), the upgrade is still just $2 like all other Wii to Wii U upgrades.

Thanks to TruExtent for the tip.
