The official Japanese Fire Emblem if website was recently updated after the Nintendo Direct last Sunday. You can find an English translation of the “System” page over on Kantopia . It’s mostly general information about the game that doesn’t offer many new infos to Fire Emblem veterans and those who have been keeping up to date with Fire Emblem if news, however there are two interesting new tidbits: Phoenix Mode, which revives fallen character each turn, can only be selected on Normal difficulty.

There’s also new info about Attack Stance and Guard Stance, this game’s evolution of Fire Emblem Awakening’s Pair Up system. In Fire Emblem if, Attack Stance will also be available to enemy units, however if your units are using Guard Stance, the enemy’s Attack Stance is negated.

The folks over at Digital Foundry have published another one of their frame rate tests, this time for Splatoon. Check out the video below:

As you can see, the game runs at 30 fps while at Inkopolis and at a nearly consistent 60 fps during multiplayer matches.

Our latest look at Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden shows three Z-Assist characters. Grandpa Gohan (Son Goku), The World Tournament Announcer, and Launch will be included in the game.

Grandpa Gohan uses his Rock, Papper, Scissors attacks. Meanwhile, Launch can use her Machinegun shots to attack the opponent.

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden launches in Japan on June 11.

Even though it’s been less than a week since Splatoon launched around the world, Nintendo is already adding content to the game. The Port Mackerel map, N-Zap ’85 weapon, and Ranked Battle mode have all gone live. In order to participate in Ranked Battle, you’ll need to be at level 10 or higher.

Nintendo will be adding even more content to Splatoon over the next few months. In August, two new matchmaking options will be offered, along with a new battle mode and gear.

Could Art Academy: Home Studio be receiving amiibo support? While it can’t be confirmed for sure just yet, that’s what an eShop listing is suggesting. Over on the North American Art Academy: Home Studio eShop page, amiibo is listed as one of its features. The title launches in just a few weeks, so Nintendo will probably need to make this known soon if it’s happening.

Nintendo has prepared a new update for all 3DS systems. As of now, version 9.8.0-25 can be downloaded.

Today’s update sadly doesn’t bring about any major new features or functionality. Of the upgrade, Nintendo says: “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”

Remember: you’ll need the latest update in order to access the 3DS eShop.
