GamesBeat has acquired a few pieces of Nintendo sales data from the January 2015 NPD report.
Here’s the full rundown:
· Sales of Wii U hardware and software increased by nearly 30 percent and nearly 45 percent, respectively, over the same month last year.
· Super Smash Bros. for Wii U added more than 90,000 combined physical and digital units to bring its lifetime total to more than 1.4 million total units in the U.S.
· Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire sold more than 150,000 combined physical and digital units, bringing their combined lifetime total to more than 2.7 million total units in the United States alone.
· Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS sold more than 90,000 combined physical and digital units in its fifth month on the market, bringing its lifetime total to more than 2.1 million total units in the United States alone.
NPD Group has released a listing of the top ten best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of January 2015. The results can be found below.

Nintendo Anime Channel is one of the new releases on the European 3DS eShop today. Thankfully, the app is very small in size. You’ll only need 200 blocks for this one!
IronFall Invasion has now launched on the European 3DS eShop. Since the game is available, it’s been revealed how big the download is. IronFall Invasion requires 3,859 blocks of free space.
GameStop is taking orders for the Shulk amiibo once again. You can grab the figure right here. Hopefully this isn’t like yesterday when Shulk was in stock for all of two minutes! Note that the amiibo won’t ship until May, based on GameStop’s listing.
E3 2015 isn’t until mid-June, but we do have a tiny bit of news about the expo already.
Nintendo has booked a 299-seat theater for an event at E3 2015. How exactly the room will be used is unknown at this time. One common thought is that it will be used for a roundtable, which would be business as usual for Nintendo.
Nintendo has also secured three booths for E3 2015. These are 4822, 5244 and 5644 in the West Hall.
E3 2015 will run between June 16 and June 18.
IronFall Invasion launches tomorrow – in Europe that is. VD-Dev is still working on the game’s North American release, which may take place on February 26.

Mobot Studios revealed the mini action-platformer “Super Kid Ninja” for iOS today. We asked the developer if a Wii U version is in store as well.
