Today Sakurai gives us a look at the 3DS main menu and it’s got the Project Sora feel all over it:
The bottom screen displays pictures matching each mode! This was quite a task for the UI (User Interface) designers, but they made it happen. Kudos to them! You can tap the screen to look up additional info like how to play–complete with diagrams.
Siesta Fiesta is among the new downloads on the 3DS eShop today. For those who intend to purchase the game, keep in mind that it takes up over 1,000 blocks on an SD card.

We have confirmation about another title coming to the North American Wii U eShop next week. Frederic: Resurrection of Music, from Forever Entertainment S. A., is slated for July 31.
Ninja Pig Studios’ mobile title IQ Test is now coming to Wii U. It will be available on the eShop next Thursday, according to creator Jordan Schuetz.

The Wii U isn’t the only Nintendo system to have been given a new system update this week. Nintendo has just published a new firmware version for 3DS – 8.1.0-18.
Of today’s update, Nintendo says:
Improved system stability and usability:
Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience
Per usual, you’ll need to download the latest firmware in order to access the eShop.
