Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection – Reploid Remixes DLC out now as free download for everyone

Back when Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection was releasing, Capcom offered Reploid Remixes DLC. This could only be obtained at the time by pre-ordering.
A few months later, the DLC is now accessible to everyone. Better yet, it’s entirely free. Simply head on over to the eShop page and you should be able to initiate the download.
The Reploid Remixes DLC “includes six alternative in-game background music tracks, as well as four specially arranged songs by series veteran composers available exclusively in the Music Player.”

Writer talks about the Mega Man movie, wants to get to the root of the character, won’t be just for kids

In an interview with Polygon, Mega Man movie writer Mattson Tomlin opened up about his approach to the project.
Tomlin mentioned that he wants to get to the root of the character that delves beyond his actual abilities. Tomlin also said it’ll “be universal and primal and emotional and everybody can kind of relate to.” Although the film will be something kids can enjoy, “it is not squarely in the kid territory.”

Netflix announces anime series based on Dragon’s Dogma from Capcom

Update: The official synopsis is as follows: “Ethan sets out to vanquish the Dragon that took his heart, but with every demon be battles, the more he loses his humanity. Follow Ethan, along with his pawn Hannah, in his journey to reclaim his heart.”

Capcom’s action-RPG Dragon’s Dogma is getting a new anime series, Netflix has announced. Even though the news was just revealed, the show will be released on September 17.
Not much is known about the upcoming anime, though it’ll obviously be heavily based around the actual game. A new poster that was just shared can be found above.

Ace Attorney director and head writer leaving Capcom

Takeshi Yamazaki has announced that he’s leaving Capcom after 15 years. Yamazaki worked on the Ace Attorney series since its earliest days, and has been a director / head writer on the Ace Attorney Investigations titles plus Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice.
“Although leaving a company is always painful, I like to think of this as ‘graduating’,” Yamazaki said in a tweet translated by Court-Records. “I’m truly glad I was able to make games and meet the Ace Attorney series at Capcom.”
Yamazaki intends to continue working with game development, but also intends to take on new challenges.
Ikumi Nakamura intends to visit Capcom and propose a new Okami game, wants Hideki Kamiya to return as director

In an interview with IGN Japan, Ikumi Nakamura answered a bunch of different fan questions. One topic that came up later on in the discussion concerned Okami, including the possibility of a sequel. Nakamura’s response was interesting to say the least.
As relayed by Nakamura’s translator, she actually intends to pitch a new Okami game to Capcom. The only personal guideline she has is for Hideki Kamiya to return as director.
