Square Enix will soon be hosting its Dragon Quest XI Release Date Presentation live stream. As the name implies, we’re expecting the RPG to be given a final date in Japan – at least on 3DS. It’ll be interesting to see if Square Enix talks about the Switch version of the game or holds off until sometime in the future.

You can watch the Dragon Quest XI Release Date Presentation as it happens below. It should begin in about an hour from now.

Atlus will soon be hosting a new dedicated live stream for Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology. On April 15, the event will held on Fresh! at the following times:

Atlus will be providing a sneak peak of the Sub-History timeline during an hour-long gameplay session. Haruka Shimotsuki will be also present to talk about the behind-the-scenes on recording the opening theme.

You’ll be able to watch the live stream on Fresh! here.

Sailor Moon was one of many high profile collaborations added to the recently-released Monster Hunter XX. We have a good look at the quest and content with the footage below.

FuRyu has released a gameplay video for The Alliance Alive, showing the game’s Talents system. Talents are abilities that characters can learn for different strategies and playstyles. They require points to learn, which are acquired by all characters by winning battles. A few of these talents include:
– “Continue the Fight Ability” – restores 1 SP per turn
– “Scouting Skill” – decreases enemy awareness
– “Negotiations and Bargaining” – decreases shop costs by 25%

Square Enix published Minna de Waiwai! Spelunker on the Japanese Switch eShop earlier today. We’ve posted some footage of it below.

With Minna de Waiwai! Spelunker releasing in Japan later this month, Square Enix has prepared a demo for the game. Players can get a taste of the upcoming title by downloading the trial from the eShop.

Square Enix’s demo offers the beginning of World 1. Solo and multiplayer with up to four players are included, with TV and tabletop modes supported. You’re limited to local multiplayer here, but the full version has online play.

And remember: as long as you have a Japanese Nintendo Account, you should be able to access the Japanese eShop and download the demo.
