Kadokawa Games has re-dated Fate/kaleid Liner Prisma Illya for Japan. First scheduled for September 2013, it will now debut on July 31. Fate/kaleid Liner Prisma Illya has players collecting cards and fighting friends in a four-player battle mode.

We’re one step closer to Nintendo’s “Quality of Life” platform… even though it’s still a long ways off. In Japan, the company has registered the trademark “QOL”. It’s associated with everything from portable gaming devices, stand alone gaming devices, to clothes, to merchandise, and beauty products.

Amazon Japan is giving out playing cards with Mario Kart 8 pre-orders. Consumers can choose between a set featuring Mario and another featuring Rosalina.

Wii Sports Club Wii U bundle replacing Premium Pack in Japan

The Wii U Premium Pack is on its way out in Japan. Nintendo’s new Wii Sports Club bundle, announced last month, will be taking its place. This package will launch on March 27.

ArtePiazza has revealed a follow-up to Arrow of Laputa, a downloadable tower defense title released for DSi in 2010. “Arrow of Laputa: A Shadowless Teacher and the Key of Chiron” will be available on the Japanese 3DS eShop next Wednesday. Pricing is set at 500 yen.
