Everything about today’s screenshot is just downright creepy. Sakurai details a Galaga inspired item that will make an appearance in the game:

It’s tough to believe, but Shin Megami Tensei IV still hasn’t arrived in Europe. On the bright side, Atlus will finally have a concrete update about the game tomorrow. We’re hearing that something may surface at around 10 AM GMT or so.

Based on comments from an Atlus staffer, it sounds like Shin Megami Tensei IV has been reconfirmed as digital-only in Europe. It also seems that getting the game out in the continent has been a bit of a mess.

There’s something fishy going on with Nicalis and The Binding of Isaac. Something fishy indeed.

Last night, Nicalis’ Tyrone Rodriguez published a blog post about The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth for the PS4 and PS Vita… but there is a mention of how the Rebirth was originally conceived as a 3DS project. And, curiously, the post contains three hyperlinks – one with “3”, another with “D”, and one more with “S”. Put that together, and you have 3DS!

Each of the links sends you to the short clip above titled “Gex Remake”, which features a 3D filter. So what’s going on here? We’ll leave you to speculate.

Curve Studios is planning a fourth game for Wii U, the company teased on Twitter today. The unannounced title will be released later this year.

Curve is also working on Stealth Inc 2, The Swapper, and Lone Survivor for Wii U.

Based on the wording of Curve’s tweet, it sounds like there could potentially be even more games coming to the Wii U eShop in the future.

Two Tribes has unveiled its next project called “RIVE”. It’s described as a “metal wrecking, robot hacking shooter”.

Two Tribes said in its announcement today, “During the game’s intense 360 degree shooting and platforming action, players learn to alter the behavior of their robotic enemies by collecting and uploading hacks.”

RIVE is due out in early 2015 for consoles and PC. Those attending Gamescom will be able to try out the game for the first time.

Zelda Wii U

A tiny blurb posted on one of Nintendo’s Japanese pages holds an extra tidbit about the new Zelda game for Wii U. It states, “In an endless world without barriers, the biggest one in the series yet, Link will encounter new mysteries and tough enemies”.

As an important note, some recently reported that the blurb confirmed a new villain for Zelda Wii U. Please note that this was not actually accurate.

Sakurai doesn’t toy with our heartstrings quite so much today, giving us a look at some fresh 3DS stages:

He continues with a callback to another entry in the Paper Mario series:

Since the stage is paper, it transforms when it folds over and opens up again. This ship is the S.S. Flavion from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
