The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s new 3.6 update is out now on Switch worldwide, CD Projekt has announced.

As previously mentioned, the patch adds support for save file integration with Steam and GOG. There’s also new graphical options, support for touch controls, and more.

Below are the full update details:

Today, Nintendo has revealed a new color variation for the Nintendo Switch Lite: Coral. It’ll launch in Japan on March 20 (the same day as Animal Crossing: New Horizons), with pre-orders starting on March 7. Currently, this new color has only been announced for Japan; we’ll keep you updated should Nintendo announce it for other regions as well.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

There have been mixed reports as to whether The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt would be updated on Switch. Saber Interactive, one of the studio’s involved with the port, had apparently said on a VK social media page that a patch was coming and it would be “worth the wait.” However, that comment was deleted, leading fans to wonder what was actually happening.

Making matters more confusing, we’re hearing that an update has in fact started to roll out. Players in Korea are allegedly able to download version 3.6, though we can’t confirm that it’s live in any other region currently.

Nintendo has run a couple of promotions for Switch Online subscribers in Japan. Previously, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Fire Emblem Warriors were offered entirely for free during a limit period. Now the program is expanding to third-party offerings.

Today, Nintendo announced that Dead Cells will be completely free to play between February 24 and March 1, assuming you’re a Nintendo Switch Online member. There is no limit on how much the game can be played, and you’re able to transfer progress to the full version.

Nintendo has not announced any similar promotions for Switch Online subscribers in the west at this time.

During the GameCube era, Blizzard was developing StarCraft: Ghost. The stealth-action game would have hit Nintendo’s older console along with other competing platforms. It sadly wasn’t meant to be, as the entire project was scrapped – though it wouldn’t be officially confirmed as cancelled until 2014.

All of these years later, we have a brand new look at Starcraft: Ghost. An old Xbox build has apparently leaked online from a dev kit and has started to spread. A couple of videos can be found below, but it’s expected that we’ll be hearing more about the project going forward now that a much wider group of people have access.

Hello, my beautiful sewer babies! This week on NEP, our big talk is on E3. With Sony gone (for good probably) but Nintendo still attending, Oni Dino and Galen take a look at the burning question: Is E3’s importance waning? There’s a lot of elements at play on both the consumer side and the business side, and we throw our hats into the ring. Plus, we’re talking mixed first impressions on Persona 5 Scrambled Eggs, Fire Emblem: Three Houses wave 4 DLC: Cindered Shadows, the Sonic film’s release (with a shocking mention of Pee Wee Herman) and generally unhealthy mindsets in the gaming community—a discussion sparked by… you guessed it: Pokemon Sword and Shield. Let’s Gaming!

If you’re enjoying NEP, please consider giving us a 5 star review on Apple Podcasts, aka new iTunes. It’s incredibly helpful in getting us exposed to new listeners through algorithms, so we would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you for listening!

Catherine: Full Body

If a new rating is anything to go by, Atlus could be bringing Catherine: Full Body to Switch. The puzzle game was classified for release on Nintendo’s console in South Korea just last month.

Catherine: Full Body is an enhanced version of the 2011 PlayStation 3 game. It features a third love interest, new cutscenes, tweaked gameplay, and more.

Here’s an overview of Catherine: Full Body, along with a trailer:

XCOM 2 Collection appears to be bound for Switch. Last month, it was classified for Nintendo’s console in South Korea.

While this isn’t an official announcement, the same ratings site has outed other Switch releases before they were revealed. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is one recent example.

XCOM 2 is a turn-based tactics game. As for the collection, it includes the War of the Chosen expansion and four DLC packs (Resistance Warrior Pack, Anarchy’s Children, Alien Hunters, Shen’s Last Gift, Tactical Legacy Pack).

Prior to the announcement of The Wonderful 101: Remastered, Nintendo Everything had a chance to speak with PlatinumGames about revisiting the Wii U game. We sat down with director Hideki Kamiya as well as studio head Atsushi Inaba.

During our discussion, Kamiya and Inaba discussed revisiting the Wii U title, going the Kickstarter route, and more. We also took some to talk about the original game, and yes, butts. Kamiya shared a little tidbit about Wonder Pink that fans may not have been aware of before…

Here’s our full discussion:

The Wonderful 101 currently exists as a standalone title, but that’s not due to a lack of interest from developer PlatinumGames. After the game missed out on having success during the Wii U era, it’s returning on Switch and other platforms thanks to a new Kickstarter campaign. The $50,000 target was quickly reached and over $1.5 million has been raised in total.

The Kickstarter campaign is important not only because of what it means now, but also for what it could lead to in the future. Director Hideki Kamiya has interest in creating a sequel and even has ideas while PlatinumGames head Atsushi Inaba is supportive of such a thing happening in the future.

Kamiya told Nintendo Everything in an interview before the Kickstarter campaign began:
