Nintendo of Europe has posted a new gameplay video for Super Mario Party that gives fans a first look at a brand new mode. River Survival will be included, and first details are in.

Here’s what we know:

Earlier today, Shigeru Miyamoto delivered the keynote address at the 2018 Computer Entertainment Developers Conference. It was here that we heard Miyamoto praising Minecraft, among other things.

Kotaku also has a small translation of another topic addressed in Miyamoto’s keynote. The Nintendo developer said that he’s not interested in making an MMORPG due to the business model and not wanting to focus on a single game.

In this week’s of Famitsu, Masahiro Sakurai has published a new column, which again appears to be focused on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The magazine hasn’t released officially just yet, but an early leak covers some of the tidbits.

Hamster will bring Arcade Archives Vs. Excitebike to Switch this fall, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals. Japanese pricing is set at 762 yen.

Arcade Archives Vs. Excitebike doesn’t have a course edit feature. However, it’s a faithful port.

CEDEC 2018 kicked off today, and it started with a big. Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto opened the developer conference with a keynote.

During his speech, Miyamoto suggested that developers look back their own experiences in order to create globally-accepted games. This is in contrast to pursuing what’s trending in the industry.

The classic tactical RPG titles Langrisser I & II are seeing full remakes on Switch, according to the latest issue of Famitsu. A release date has not been announced.

Kadokawa Games will be handling the release. Production is being supervised by Chara-Ani, while Extreme is in charge of supervision. Ryo Nagi is acting as character designer while Noriyuki Iwadare is composing.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season debuted on Switch this month. However, previous entries in the series never made it to a Nintendo system. Telltale will begin to remedy that starting next week.

Switch owners will be able to purchase The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season on Switch starting August 28. It includes all five original episodes, as well as add-on anthology 400 Days. According to Telltale, “Both have been ported from last year’s The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection, which offered substantial visual and performance enhancements over previous editions.” These have been brought over to The Complete First Season on Switch.

GamesBeat published a new interview today with Starlink: Battle for Atlas producer Matthew Rose. The two sides discussed the game’s origins, current status of the toys-to-life market, plans for future support, and the Star Fox collaboration. Rose said that free content is planned while the partnership with Nintendo is “a match made in heaven”.

Luigi's Mansion

Earlier today, Nintendo announced the release date for Luigi’s Mansion on 3DS in Europe. The company has followed up with some news for North America.

The new 3DS remake of Luigi’s Mansion is due out stateside on October 12, Nintendo has announced. Pricing is set at $39.99.
